"Although it was rained 2 of the 3 days we were there, this was still a great stay for my son and I ! We also brought our dogs and we had plenty of space for them as well. The owner stopped by to put a hot tub in, so that's an added bonus for anyone staying after us. The owner was great to visit with, and the property manager was quick to reply when we messaged him. "Our family stayed here for the Christmas holiday and it was an amazing time. The property is new, spacious, clean, modern with a cozy feel and offers privacy for outdoor fun. We have stayed many places and the Codax Retreat by far is one of the BEST places we have stayed at. "Plenty of parking, located on the main drag right by restaurants and Kwik Trip. Breakfast options were plentiful and superior to most hotels I've stayed with. Would come back just for the breakfast and coffee! We will absolutely stay here again, and everyone we encountered was super friendly. Didn't use the pool but it looked well-kept. Rooms were as expected and clean. Beds were comfy and the towels were soft and fluffy. Great small-town spot to stay. "
