Family get together for a 70th birthday. The house is nicely updated, very clean, and well setup for 4 couples. We are thinking of making this an annual event at this location.

We were very impressed with Poverty Point. We stayed four nights and hope to stay longer next time. It was clean and spacious for our family with 5 adults and 3 kids. Host was easy to work with and we truly enjoyed our time there. Would definitely recommend!

awesome property. lots of room and very clean. kids were able to swim off the dock. had one small issue with the smoke detectors but the hose very very responsive and helpful would stay here again

Great Extended Family Cabin

Our family of 7 (parents with 2 adult children and their spouses, with 1-granddaughter) had a great 5-night stay, would highly recommend.

Fantastic Stay, Would Visit Again

The place looks recently renovated with all new appliances and super clean rooms. The place itself was in a perfect location right on a bay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place on Lake Holcombe!

Amazing space inside and out!

Beautiful place, lot of space inside and out. We enjoyed every bit of space we had. Adults and kids enjoyed the multiples spaces to play, eat, lounge, play games, etc. Highly recommend!

Perfectly beautiful location. We loved the deck looking out at the lake and spent both of our evenings sitting outside and catching up with each other. Plenty of space/beds for 4 adult families. All of the furniture was so nice and new, we admired all of the decor. We would definitely return. Only minor preferences that could have improved our stay: 1) mirrors in bedrooms would have helped us all get ready more efficiently with so many people having to share bathrooms 2) shower stocked with bathroom supplies - most places that I've stayed would include shampoo/body wash, this would be an easy convenience to include at low cost, luckily others had product to borrow 3) towels on lower level were very musty smelling as if they weren't completely dried. We should have just rewashed them but didn't realize until we were showering with them.

Amazing getaway!

Our second trip to this beautiful property. We stayed wirh our kids and grandkids and loved both the indoor and outdoor space. Kids swam off the point amd also caugh fish from the dock and shore. Lots of space to enjoy. Very clean, great hosts, very responsive! We will be back!

Relaxing Getaway

Everything about this home was just beautiful. Enjoyed a hot cup of coffee in the early morning’s crisp air while being with nature and listening to the bird songs/woodpeckers. It was very spacious, clean, and beds were comfortable. Communication was very easy & in timely matter with the host. Will definitely return if I get the chance too.
