"We stayed (with friends) for in early April. The weather was great and we really enjoyed the snorkeling. The sun was more intense than we expected so take precautions. As for the Sandpiper - we've never stayed at a place with a nicer and more helpful staff. Everyone was great and they got to know us. The grounds were immaculate. you could ell they took great pride in their resort. Also great was the food. After a week in one place I usually get tired of the food but here the quality was great and the selection varied. We didn't feel the need to go offsite (but we did - had to explore the island). We could almost always get our favorite table overlooking the water. Drinks were tasty. The beach is small and informal but we always managed to find chairs to relax in. The pools were a nice alternative to the beach - especially after swimming in the ocean. The ocean was clean and clear. "

"We had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating except for not getting our room cleaned a few days. The food was great, entertainment every night, and we loved finishing up our nights dancing at the piano bar. "
