Macatawa Lake View Cottage by State Park and Bike Trails

Our cottage is located right on Lake Macatawa and just down the road from the Holland State Park.---Walk, hike, run, bike, or drive to the park entrance, which is less than a mile away or go 5 miles in the other direction to shop and get something to eat in downtown town Holland.
Our Yellow Cottage is perfect for family fun-all the amenities to make your stay easy--dishwasher, washer/dryer, two bathrooms, and a fabulous view of Lake Macatawa. There's plenty of parking for your guests too, and a 2-stall garage for your car and 'extra' items. We supply a few bikes for your use or if you prefer, bike rental is available within a few blocks of our cottage. Enjoy watching all the lake activity from the back yard and end your night sitting with family and/or friends around the campfire.
You are welcome to use the grassy park next door to this cottage which has steps going into the lake but due to high water no longer has a sandy beach.

The house was cozy and the view out the back was amazing. It was super clean and well supplied. The beds weren't as comfortable as we'd hoped for and despite the many fans it got quite warm.

Beautifully decorated & well appointed home perfect for pretty much any occasion. Unfortunately we only got to stay one night bc this house was fantastic! And the outdoor options were great but the weather & season didn't cooperate

Close to the Beach

We were so happy with how close we were to Holland State Beach and the water frontage on Lake Macatawa was beautiful. The property owner was very responsive to our questions and emails. Definitely a wonderful location!

Great family weekend

We stayed for just the weekend to attend a wedding for our family. There were six of us and we had a fantastic time. The views were beautiful and the cottage was clean and fully stocked with what we needed. Harriet was an amazing host and we hope to come back again!

Beautiful location on Lake Macatawa

Older house in a perfect location. Loved sitting by the lake. Loved watching the sun rise and the moon shine on the water. Just down the street is Ottawa Beach on Lake Michigan and Holland's famous red lighthouse. Our stay was very pleasant.

Lake Macatawa Sunrises

We had a great week being near the lake and made many memories. The morning sunrises were beautiful. This nostalgic cottage kept us entertained and intrigued all week long.

The Perfect Setting

We needed a quick, one-night stay with family and this was the perfect house. Super easy check-in, comfortable beds and clean. We loved the retro touches and the multiple places for guests to sit and enjoy the view. We also appreciated not having a huge cleaning fee and were happy to do a quick cleanup. Awesome!

It is a perfect location on Lake Macatawa and walking distance to Holland State Park. The house is a perfect beach house. We enjoyed the fire pit at night, canoeing during the day, and beautiful sunsets at Lake Michigan. I'm looking forward to another visit!

Perfect location

We came for the fall festival to celebrate mom’s birthday. Close to shopping & restaurants. Great view of the water, sunrise & sunset. Fireplace room was a great place to sit & talk after being out in the cool weather.

We came for some R&R and that’s exactly what we got! The view out the back of the house was amazing. Proximity to the beach was amazing but it was too cold for swimming. Great beach! Would be great in warmer weather!

Respite Visit

Get-Away With Friends

Lovely cottage located on the walk/bike-path to the State Park, Out-door Eateries, Hiking Trails, to name a few. My only regret is that we didn't book for a longer stay. A great place to reconnect with friends with plenty of space. Thank you Harriet!
