The Tree Inn

8/10 Good

"A beautiful ancient building dating back to medieval times and with associations with historical events. Parking at a public car park some 500 metres away- free from 9-10 am with ticket but you have to pay after that. A basic continental breakfast is provided and tea and coffee in the room. Very close to beaches in Bude. We enjoyed our stay but must confess en suite facilities and a TV in the room would have made it better. Good value for money."

"Unfinished building site next door was an eyesore and at check in we were in a 2 bed not a 3 bed apartment so the initial impression wasn't great. However we got moved to a 3 bed with a lovely view from the substantial balcony. Good location for local facilities and free parking. Apartment had everything we needed."

"Lovely double room, spotlessly clean, great shower and all with free parking which is an absolute bonus. Good lighting and large TV, comfy bed etc The pub is lovely and the gardens great in the Summer Only one negative which actually almost ruined my stay - the room was unbearably hot and even with the fan on full blast 24/7 I could barely sleep a wink. It was very hot weather but even so, with temperatures threatening to reach similar heights from now on, something needs to be done in terms of air conditioning"

Camelot Castle Hotel

"Perched at the top of of the cliffs overlooking the ocean, Camelot Castle was an amazing spot with lots of history. It is the perfect spot to explore. the nearby Tintagel castle ruins. The views were spectacular. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was delicious. Highly recommended."
