"Became here for the first three days of our honeymoon. The hotel was absolutely stunning. The staff was amazing. We traveled for around 16 hours, and were up for 24 hours by the time we arrived. They made everything easy at check-in, and made sure we were comfortable. Nikki the bartender at the Holuholu grill is a gem. Honestly, all the staff was absolutely incredible. Well, well worth the value. Will be back!!!"

"Beautiful ocean views from our balcony. Staff at breakfast and the activities hut were both friendly and helpful. Wide beach with lots of chairs and umbrellas. Great snorkeling right from the front of the hotel. Only minor downside is my mother in law did struggle with the amount of stairs and distance from room to the beach."

"By far the best resort I've been to. Family friendly, friendly service, clean, accommodating, overall amazing. The ONLY thing and it really wasn't too big of a deal to us, but could be to someone with bad knees, is there are no elevators so you gotta walk up possibly three flights with your luggage and then the remainder. Parking was a little crowded, as well, we had to park a couple buildings down a few time. Overall AMAZING"

"The check in was so easy, the front desk attendant was so helpful. Even though we checked in at 11pm she was so cheerful and kind. I think her name was Coya? The room is gorgeous, the bed is so comfortable and we have everything we could need in the room. We love it! "

"Our stay at Mauna lani was just perfect. Beautiful, clean, comfortable room, pool and shared areas. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Valet is very efficient and go above and beyond to make your day trips better. Mel provided us with an umbrella and mat in one of our outings to a hike/beach without us even asking for it. The pool is great, the water was temperate, so not cold or warm just the right temperature for comfort but still refreshing. The beach at the hotel is extremely beautiful, it’s a little rocky so you probably want to wear water shoes when not swimming or snorkeling but right off the beach to the left there is the most amazing coral with a lot of colorful fish and even turtles! We went snorkeling a few times during our stay and we saw amazing fish and at least one turtle every time. The Island of Hawai’i calls for adventure with some difficult/long hikes and drives so coming back to the most beautiful, comfortable and accommodating hotel is what you need to make your vacation perfect. If we are lucky enough to come back to the Island of Hawai’i we will definitely choose Mauna lani again!"

"Had a great stay! Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Restaurant food was very good and excellent drinks. Great views throughout! Pool was very nice with ocean views. We had no issues with parking. Good location that’s walkable to town shops and restaurants. Short drive to many beaches. We had a great time!"
