"The Henann villas in Alona are our home for a few days when we visit family in Bohol. My little one and I can enjoy the small pool 24/7, which perfectly accommodates our wake times from jet lag. The staff has been friendly (improved over the years), and the response time to phone calls and issues have been quicker. The only thing I would suggest and wish is for the return of the breakfast buffet for their Villa guests at Christina’s café (instead of at the current general buffet places at the Coral and Sea Breeze locations). Also, they should accomodate more for minors who are staying at the Villa when it comes to using (and enjoying) the Lounge. Maybe use the outdoor part of the Lounge for those adults who are drinking alcoholic beverages, and allow kids to use the indoor/air conditioned space? The current situation I find to be too discriminating for kids and for the guest families who are staying at the Villa. I strongly suggest a more FAMILY-friendly setup. Thanks!"

"I loved this hotel. The rooms are quaint, the layout means the cottages are private and quiet. The restaurant overlooks the sea and the food is lovely. The homemade ice cream, that you can watch being made, is delicious (I had avacado and spicy ginger) thick and creamy and the gift shop and being able to watch crafts people writing is just fab. All the staff were helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you. "

"We had a great time at this fantastic property. The staff have been absolutely amazing, always with a smile on their face and ready to help. The atmosphere around the resort was very peaceful, the room was spotless and the direct access to a private beach was a bonus as you don’t need to fight for a place. The swimming pool was perfect size and there is also free snorkelling equipment available as well table tennis, kayaks and hammocks. You can arrange tours around the island at the reception - we did the countryside tour. There is only one restaurant but it is exceptionally good with a beautiful view so no need to look further. I could go on and on but all that’s left to say is thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so special, really a gem of a place! Salamat!! "

"Great entertaining for families...if ypu go to Pangloa this would be a great option if you like to cook for yourself and entertain others. All bedrooms have ensuites but hot water and general water pressure dont exsist. The shower downstairs near pool for common use is the only shower with decent pressure. I t wasnt a problem for is and dodnt take away from the overall positive experience. Maila and Anthony are the caretakers and live nearby and are lovely people who are happy to help with your questions and requests. Overall if you value privacy and self contined in realtive luxery and beutiful surrounds then this is the place for you. We are a group of ten and we entertained an additional 22 family members with ease "
