The only problem was the steps to the front door - they are slippery when it is wet and there is not a railing. We had a guest who had just had knee surgery and she worried she might fall. "My husband and I wanted to stay here forever. What a magical place. The views are outstanding, the kitchen is fully stocked for a long stay, and the bed was so cozy and comfortable. I love that you can see the mountains from the bed. The only complaint I have is regarding the shower. The shower head is very high up the wall and impossible to adjust. As a shorter person, I couldn’t escape the water blasting me in the face. But I’ll take being blasted in the face by water if it means I can be in this cabin! If we ever make our way back to Homer (which we loved) we will definitely stay again! "

"The Otter Stop Inn is a great home away from home. The unit really comfortable, nicely furnished and well stocked. The views are breathtaking with glaciers right across the bay. We even saw a moose and her calf walk up the road past us."
