Historic Home Comfort, Convenience, and Views!

Beautiful views from a three bedroom family home, with full kitchen, living room, and laundry facilities. The close-to-town, convenient location adds to the benefit of this accommodation.

We renovated this older home to retain its original charms, but also to satisfy our modern tastes and expectations. The result is quaint, bright, and utterly charming with enchanting views of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountains and the Homer Spit. Every window at the front of the house - living room, kitchen, and laundry (!) offer the remarkable views we love so much in Homer.

This is one of two rentals from Alaska Holiday Homes and available on this property. Rent both of the units to bring a large group of family / friends together in one location (in all, 5 queen beds for 10 people).

Nice view and location

Clean house, comfortable beds, beautiful view of the mountains and water from this house. Very quiet neighborhood, and close to shops and restaurants on the Homer Spit. We very much enjoyed our stay at this house.

Great view!

Nice spot for a family! Very clean and the three bedrooms were great for the kids. The view of Homer was fantasitic and there were plenty of amenities. Would recommend.

Positively Perfect stay in Homer

If you visit Homer, you better try to stay here. Absolutely perfect home with totally comfortable beds and unbelievably view of the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Phyllis stopped by and was a perfect host.

Wonderful stay, great location.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was the perfect size for our four person family, and we found it very relaxing. The living and kitchen areas benefit from really nice natural light and there is a great view of the mountains out the front window. The owners were very friendly and helpful in answering our questions. We would definitely return again.

Alaska vacation

My husband, my 80 y/o dad and myself enjoyed this historic home for two nights. The home was exactly as described if not better. Peaceful, million dollar views and close to everything. Enjoyed the local cranes, momma and baby moose and snowshoe hares. Hope to be back! Loved the town of Homer!

Fantastic property!

This was our 3rd stay at this beautiful home. It is well kept and always clean and quiet. The view is incredible. It's close to both the Spit and midtown Homer as well as a scenic drive up East End Road. The owners, Kit and Phyllis, are wonderful managers and very responsive to any issues that arise. I highly recommend this property!

Heaven in Homer

The home was perfect: location, price, amenities and view. Photos do not do the property justice. My fishing buddy and I usually stay at a local hotel and share a room. For the same price we had an entire house. It was heavenly. Will be staying here again and again.

Beautiful View with Wildlife

Perfect place to stay for the weekend for a family or group. Lots of space and gorgeous views of the Spit out the front window. We spent the first evening watching a mama and playful baby moose in the yard. Will definitely be back!
