Family Adventure!

Our family of 14, ages 15-81 years, stayed 4 nights in this beautiful home overlooking the Kachemak Bay and the mountains beyond. The house worked fantastically for us - especially our mobility challenged grandparents (2 first floor bedrooms/minimal transitions) and first level entry (no steps). The view is what hooked me -- and will bring me back. We have some family members who couldn't do the more strenuous activities, but they were happy to stay back, sit in the family room and watch the clouds move around the mountains, the boats in the bay and the Momma moose and her calf IN THE BACKYARD! We also saw pheasants, magpies and sandhill cranes. The hot tub was soothing after taking a water taxi to the state park across the bay for a nice hike -- Homer is a great place to stay with lots of fun activities for all ages. You won't regret booking this home -- and we can't wait to go back.
