Just 1.3 miles from downtown Homer and close to Homer Airport and the Homer Spit, it’s a scenic home base for a short escape. This spacious, approximately 1,000-square-foot retreat is ideal for couples and small families exploring Homer, fishing Kachemak Bay, or simply slowing down for a few days.
The retreat features two comfortable queen bedrooms and sleeps up to four guests, with a private entrance and self check-in so you can come and go on your own schedule. Inside, you'll have a comfortable living area, full private bathroom, fast Wi-Fi, and an in-suite washer and dryer—especially convenient after a day of hiking, fishing, or exploring the coast.
The kitchenette is set up for drinks, simple meals, and snacks, with a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee setup. There is no stove, oven, or kitchen sink. Plenty of great Homer dining is nearby.
Coming to Homer to fish? Kachemak Retreat includes a dedicated freezer for your catch, giving anglers a convenient place to store securely packaged fish before heading home. Please do not clean or process fish inside, or place fishing gear in the washer or dryer.
Enjoy year-round views of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountains, and Grewingk Glacier. Outside, guests have exclusive use of the private yard and dedicated outdoor seating, while off-street parking makes arrival easy.
