"Beach view at The Ocean Shores was wonderful. There is a path from the property directly down to the beach. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of towels, a hairdryer and personal sized shampoo and soap in the bathroom. Room includes refrigerator, microwave and single serve coffee maker with coffee packs and condiments. Large picture window provides a great view of the beach, glaciers and mountains. The blind on the picture window is adequate to block light but the light comes through the door curtains and did not block light so we improvised. Located in Old Town Homer and close to some great restaurants. It’s an outstanding accommodation and Mike the host is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It’s our new favorite place to stay in Homer!"

"I booked this unit for an overnight, in preparation for a Katmai National Park trip the next day.Communication with the owner was great and upon arrival, there were no issues getting in. The unit was clean, comfortable and looked brand new, The kitchen/living room area is comfortable, bedroom roomy and quiet. Also, the view of Kachemak Bay from the upstairs balcony is outstanding.Overall I was very pleased and would certainly book again if staying in Homer."
