"It was a nice house with character. A lot of spiders all around the property and the road noise was absolutely insane. I do wish teh listing clearly discussed how many steps there are to get into the house and also to get to downstairs. They offer child gates, but it was a bit intense for our family member with mobility issues and also the small children. Great place for able bodied adults wanting to have a space to hang out, but not so much for elder or small children. We did appreciate the toys and all that was done to make it a welcoming place for all ages. I would stay again but not with ones under 2 or with mobility issues. Back deck was amazing though fro evenings and just being together! All in all it was great for a week stay!"

"Spent our honeymoon here. The property was in excellent condition and exactly as pictured. Quiet and cozy while still being close to attractions. Hot tub and outdoor shower were great and everything we needed was at the cabin. Communication with host was almost immediate and flexible with us. They did a great job with the property and we would return if we go to Mt hood again. 10/10."

"Nicely decorated, updated, family-friendly cabin on the river. Had everything we needed (some rentals are bare-bones!) and the kids had so much fun. Located very close to camp for one of our kids and perfectly situated between downtown Sandy and Mt. Hood. TV room upstairs was great for an office during the day and watching movies at night. Even though there is a ban for wood burning fires, we were able to have a gas fire on the deck. Can’t wait to come back next summer."

"We enjoyed this house on the river So much that one day we will be coming back. The view from the deck, the living room and upstairs bedroom are sublime. Since my girlfriend and I are in our seventies, the pathway down to the river was impossible due to the big rocks and the incline, but if you're young, i'm sure you can manage it."

"Wonderfully well thought out and set up! The home was very clean and well cared for. The kitchen is well stocked, and the pots and pans are actually nice—not the cheap stuff you often see in rentals. There are so many little details throughout the house that make you feel like the hosts really care: sound machines in the bedrooms, lots of outlets and charging ports, plenty of nice towels, and a generous supply of pods for both the dishwasher and washing machine. It’s all the little things that make you feel welcome and comfortable.The hot tub was wonderful and very clean, and the setting is quiet and peaceful.The upstairs does get fairly warm during the hottest part of the day, but there were several fans available, and we opened the windows to create a cross breeze, so it really wasn’t much of an issue for us.There are also two large-screen TVs in the house. Just as an FYI, there are no TVs in the bedrooms. That wasn’t an issue for us at all, but it may be a helpful detail for future guests to know.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really appreciated how much thought and care went into making the home comfortable and welcoming!"
