"Check-in was a cinch! I called the phone # I was given 15 minutes before I arrived and our host’s husband met me with a great welcome. I was meeting a friend for the weekend after 23 years and this quiet, secluded home was perfect. The view from the deck, where we ate our dinner the first night, was amazing! It rained the next morning and unfortunately, because the TV was an older model, with the bad weather we lost signal. An upgrade to a Smart TV would be nice so we could have signed into...

We had a surprise visitor from their family's farm dog who wondered up to the house and sat on the porch for a while. That really was no problem for us, we are dog people! Just a funny addition to our stay :) We all had nice wknd and are looking forward to coming back soon!"

"Need to getaway? Whether you’re a local or a out of town-er, the cottages at River Harbor are the perfect place to float your cares away! We found our cottage to be very clean and had all that we needed for a relaxing getaway. Did I mention that they are on the river!!! Floating on the river to be exact! What a perfect place! There are several restaurants within walking distance. It’s dreamy. We sat in the floating deck and took in the sights…boats passing and trains. A really neat experience....

There is an ashtray directly outside the front door for smoking and clearly that has permeated the property. We stayed that night and immediately moved in with family the following morning. With an infant and an asthmatic wife, staying was absolutely non negotiable"

"Our overnight stay was nice. The facility was very quiet which was great because we were so tired. The morning breakfast had very nice options, and the coffee was good. Only one negative, and it wasn't that much of one. Room 169 (one of the two rooms we reserved) had a faulty drain plug so our friend couldn't get the tub to fill for a bath. Someone might want to look into that."
