Honningsvåg Port is the gateway to Norway’s northernmost city and the famous North Cape. The port is just a short walk from the main street of Honningsvåg, where you will find restaurants serving seafood straight from the icy Arctic Ocean. Take a cruise to Honningsvåg Port and explore the small city of about 2,500 permanent residents. Drive from the fishing community to North Cape and experience the magnificent northern lights. The temperature in the venue is about 27 F (-3 C) however, the bar provides suitable arctic clothing to make your visit comfortable. Intriguingly, this bar is made new each year from solid ice cut from nearby frozen lakes. It also stays frozen long enough to remain open the whole summer.

Take a short drive from Honningsvåg Port to the fishing village of Kamøyær. Here you will find an art gallery filled with local paintings, crafts and books. Many of the paintings focus on the region’s unforgiving and beautiful natural environments. Some pieces are available for purchase.
