Good place, more for work than play
Definitely a downtown location. Great new bakery just next door. Not walkable to any beach. Loved the free parking. The building had some strong smells but baking soda in bowls helped keep our place smelling neutral. Plenty of beds for 7 people.

Excellent place for big family
Beds for 6 with a pullout couch sleeping 2 more. Loved having enough places to sleep for my whole family. Lots of extras to make our Hawaii stay smooth, including a boogie board, sand toys, lots of snorkel gear, cooler, stroller and beach towels. It was a pain to drive up to the 7th floor every time we got back from adventures, but you can’t beat free parking!! We didn’t run into any problems and we had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall decent place
Decent place, not a great location. Bedroom needs black out shades. For a place that sleeps 8, should have 2 toast, toaster. Water pot for cooking needs to be replaced as does trash bin. Couch cushion not good. Small changes could make this apartment a better experience but overall it was fine.

HANH HONG DUONG was easy to communicate and work with. We loved the spacious property and having a reserved parking stall. We had a small challenge which was taken cared of immediately. Best part for us was the close proximity to everything in Honolulu. Will definitely try to get property again for future travel to Oahu.

Solid Downtown Honolulu Value
Hanh (the property owner) is wonderful and communicates super quickly! The condo itself worked out well for all 8 of us who were traveling together. The space is large enough not to feel like we were crawling all over each other with the only challenge being carving out time to each use the single bathroom/shower. Having a really nice/brand new washer/dryer in the unit was brilliant and made hopping into the ocean every day so much easier to manage (no nasty smelly swimsuits!). The full kitchen also allowed us to vastly save on meals and we cooked a ton on the stove (and rice cooker). Being on the 11th floor also meant it was quiet despite being downtown and on the street-level there was a terrific Asian Market and a 7/11 where we’d grab fresh musubi and manapua treats daily! Parking in Honolulu, especially close to Waikiki, is a huge pain and so it was super nice having a designated parking spot located on the premises that was included with the rental! Definitely keep note that this is located downtown and so you do get a mix of “colorful” people when you’re at street-level, but we didn’t have any incidents…although we certainly observed some interesting folks. ;)

The unit it self is clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our time and the convenience this place provides to all of Honolulu. The building is old and in the middle of downtown. Honolulu has a homeless population as do most large downtowns. The area felt safe, even at night. The building has a pest issue. The unit management has put a large amount of pest traps outside the door and all around the unit. This makes for a very strong pesticide smell in the unit and is absorbed into your belongings.

Nice Unit in a Terrible Building
The individual unit itself is as advertised. It has been recently redone and was cleaned before we arrived. The overall property however is terrible. It is an old office building that has been refurbished and turned into condominiums. The hallways and elevators are dirty and smell awful and there is a huge roach problem, which unfortunately spills over into the individual unit. The only good things about the building itself are the pool and the free parking space. Once again, the individual unit is clean and you can tell the unit owners are doing their best to keep their unit in good shape and fight the roach problem, but the building itself is terrible.

Not what I expected for the price
The property could use a few minor upgrades.The location to stores is great but the area is not so good and clean. Security guards warned us not to go out after dark. When I tried to message the property .manager she would answer everything except when I messaged about the roaches. The Murphy bed is not stable bar at end of bed slides, and sofa bed nothing but springs.

Loved having a bed for everyone. Loved the pool/hot tub on the same floor with an open sky. Worked great as a base for our vacation. Host is quick to communicate with any questions we had.

uneventful stay, check in process was smooth, just follow the instructions, place felt safe. Parking location was secure, though it is up on the 7th floor parking structure so a bit of drive up/down every time. Place was clean, as described.

Short but sweet stay
My family (7 of us) stayed at the property for two days. The communication with Hanh was exceptional. She answered any questions I had very quickly. It was nice to have garage parking included but do note that it is on the 7th floor. Lots of things included in the rental including beach items like towels, totes, snorkel. Location of the property was very convenient to places like Waikki Beach. We could even walk to Chinatown. I wouldn't walk around there at night though.

Great place, clean and updated.
Our stay was great. We had 8 people and it is a smaller apartment but everyone fit comfortably , it was clean and we had what we needed. The included parking spot and walking distance to wal-mart was a plus. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and the owner was prompt to answer our calls and give assistance.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Everything was very CLEAN, inviting and neat and accessible. There was plenty of seating for everyone. There was a large table for playing games and eating, plenty of seats at the kitchen bar countertop for eating, a desk and chair. There is a Walmart directly behind the property for groceries. We appreciated the shampoo and the dishwashing soap. It was even awesome to have beach towels, beach mats, floaties, boogie board and cooler. It made the beach trip more enjoyable. It would be a good idea to have a few more blankets and a mirror in the living area, perhaps a pizza cutter and a cookie sheet. Otherwise, everything was excellent! Would recommend this property!

Cute little apartment
Definitely a small space, but was useful for our needs. Kitchen was well stocked, but could use more silverware. Host was responsive when there was an issue with the shower and got it fixed pretty quick. Only complaint is how high up in the garage the parking spot is, the location gets a lot of traffic and is sometimes difficult to navigate. We did however love that there was a Walmart, drugstore, and 7-Eleven within walking distance.

Comfortable, Clean and Convenient
Hanh was a wonderful host! We arrived during a very stressful time, as our trip was to pay final respects to my father who had recently passed away. Coronavirus was in full swing. Hanh made us feel welcomed by providing basic household needs such as toiletries in the bathroom and a well stocked kitchen. She had some snacks at the ready for weary travellers and coffee too. The entire apartment was spacious and clean, which was great since we had to quarantine for the majority of our stay. While in quarantine we felt we were conveniently located to basic shopping and Chinatown. My boys spent a lot of time watching television and were able to hook up their video games. Aside from their roars of laughter, the condo was quiet and well insulated from exterior noises. We would love to stay again to check out the other amenities and explore our surroundings. Thank you Hanh!

TV problem
We had problems with the tv. “No signal” appeared on the screen. Tried calling Hahn for over a week and the phone was always busy. I texted the number given with no response. Other than the tv problem, the apt was very nice.

1st timer
This was my first time renting through VRBO and it won’t be my last! We ran into one problem, but it got resolved and other than that we enjoyed ourselves. I really loved the fact she had items already provided in room to use and it definitely helped especially when you fly in late. Really enjoyed our stay and plenty of room and space for all 6 of us!

It was great having Esther and her family stay with us at the condo. Esther is a fantastic guest to have. She followed all the house rules and left the condo very clean and very tidy. La communication avec Hanh a été excellente. Elle a répondu à nos questions dans un très bon délais. Nous étions 4 adultes et 4 enfants/adolescents et tout s’est très bien passé. Il y avait de la place pour tout le monde même si l’espace est restreint. Plusieurs commodités sont à proximité (Walmart, Ross, pâtisseries, Mc Donald’s...) ce qui a facilité notre organisation. La propreté du logement était très bien. Nous avons vécu un moment magique à Honolulu et nous n’hésitons pas à recommander ce logement. Merci à Hanh pour toutes les petites attentions... nous avons beaucoup apprécié!

Beautiful Place!
We stayed with 5 adults and 3 children. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep (1 sofa bed, 1 futon, 1 Murphy bed, and 1 queen in the bedroom). There was also an aero bed air mattress available if we needed it. Hanh was a wonderful host with excellent communication. She had all the basic amenities available and more! We made use of the beach towels, beach bag, boogie board, sand toys, and snorkel gear! We ate breakfast every morning and dinner a couple of times in the condo. The kitchen was fully stocked. The condo had beautiful decor as well. It is located in the heart of downtown, so the parking included is a HUGE plus. Traffic getting to and from the apartment can be a bit much, so be sure to plan ahead. The condo is located next to a Walmart, Longs Drugs, and Ross which was convenient. We did make use of the pool/spa during our stay which is conveniently located on the same floor as the condo. Yes, there is a large homeless population in the area, but this is true all over the Waikiki as well. An excellent condo, great value. You will not be disappointed. Hope to stay here again in the future! Thank you, Hanh!

Our stay was great. My family was comfortable , just enough beds. There was 6 of us. We used the pool and spa on the same floor. Hahn provided plenty of towels ,beach towels ,beach bag, snorkel gear, we made breakfast every day in the fully stocked kitchen. Everything we needed except a can opener. The only down side was a little street construction and quite a bit of homeless ppl but overall I would rent again.
