Loved the location on the beach. Apartment was roomy and clean. We had everything we needed to make meals, hang together as a family and bedrooms/bathrooms to utilize. I would highly recommend this rental!!

The location was perfect ! Walk off the elevator and right to Dukes Lagoon and the beaches! The room was perfect for the 4 of us staying here! Very classic beach condo! The host was great with communication. My family and I had a wonderful stay for our first time in Hawaii!! Mahalo !

Everything was great. Lovely touches like a box of chocolates left for us to enjoy. The host is accommodating and responsive. The condo was clean and well equipped. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it was very noisy.

Great spot in Waikiki

We had a terrific family vacation staying here! Very comfortable for 2 kids, 2 adults. Perfect location - easy walk down to the beach, we took surf lessons, drove to hikes, the North Shore. The Ilikai even has hula on the patio and a perfect view of fireworks on Friday evening!

Fantastic apartment

There were three of us in the apartment and we had the best time. The location of the Ilikai is perfect as was the apartment. Very spacious and had everything we needed.Arvis looked after us and responded to any questions we had instantly.Was the perfect stay and would go back there tomorrow and would really recommend it.

This was a great location for us. Right by the beach and walking distance to the Waikiki area. It sometimes got a little noisy at night with people out on the street but turning on the AC units to just run their fans created enough white noise to block it out.

So much fun staying here at this prime located property. Was fun just watching the street below, let alone walking around below and enjoying the lagoon and beach right near. Definitely feel a part of the activity. Beautiful palms! Excellent!

Comfortable, clean, close to everything

The unit comfortably accommodated two couples. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare and serve a few meals. Honolulu is expensive so this is a boon to those travelling on a budget. Arvis was a pleasant host and allowed us a late checkout which was appreciated. If you are looking for a clean, simple, and central Waikiki rental, this is it.

The condominium was old, but the rooms were clean. It was in a convenient location and good for a family vacation. The communication with the property manager was prompt and helpful. The only issue we had was a stable internet connection at this property. Otherwise, it is a wonderful place.

Perfect location for what we like to do. Car rental available in the lobby. Very nice eating establishments. Kitchen suited our needs. However the carpet was stained and both mattresses in the second room need to be replaced. The owner was very easy to work with. The unit was on the third level, so not alot of wait time in the elevators.

The unit was clean and tidy. Our host was responsive and helpful. The condo is on the older side and could use some upgrades -especially windows. It’s in the Ala Moana side and on the 3rd floor so street noise can be a problem.

The location is excellent, nice shops on the property including coffee and ice cream shops, restaurants and souvenir shops. Ilikai has a nice free Hula show and fireworks every Friday at the Hawaii village next door. Access to the Lagoon for the kids is wonderful and Waikīkī beach is a short walk. Everything is wheelchair scooter accessible. The actual suite is very dated , needs upgrading including paint new beds (as the beds are saggy and very uncomfortable.) Toilets ran constantly and leaked ,TV did not work for most of the time. We contacted the host who sent out technicians, but the fix did not last long. Pest control visited while we stayed and Lanai painting was underway and we were not supposed to use the Lanai, but we did outside the painters working hours. Host was mostly quick to respond and gave us reasonable parking rates.

Walk to the beach and shops

Great place. Amazing space. I brought my family of 5 and both grandmas. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay, fully stocked kitchen, laundry down the hall. We only used our rental car one day to go to the north shore. Everything else is walking distance to the beach, two fun pools, shopping, and many restaurants. Bonus, the sofa pulls out into a bed. Host was quick to respond, even before our trip. Our flight got in early and host even let us check in a little early. Thank you. We definitely recommend staying here and we will book again when we come back.

Nice location. First impression opening door, door jam filthy dirty. Furnishings are a bit outdated at the location. Flooring needs to be cleaned or replaced. The beds were very uncomfortable. I was disappointed we each had only one bath towel to use. This meant we had to do laundry more frequently. Laundry location convenient to room, but not the cleanest and no trash can in the room to empty lint from dryer.

Great location, huge space, and near everything

Extremely impressed with our (4 adults) stay at this property, starting from the moment we were offered early check-in to the moment we left. Huge space, double balcony and bathrooms, with a full kitchen! Dinning room table, also had a lovely living room, place was more then accomadating for us. Great price as well and property host communication was nothing short of spectacular! Had a car but so close to everything, we rode scooters and walked everywhere. Vallet parking was $45 a day and nothing but great staff very friendly and awesome! Tips are not expected but are greatly appreciated. Awesome view of the harbor, there's coffee for the morning, pokè for lunch, super swanky restaurant on top of the hotel for dinner (30th floor, gotta try it! Awesome views and great grub #Pesca) and ice cream for late night, a market, all incuded in the hotel, lots of other walking distance restaurants too and shopping! All in all, great place to stay at. Will definitely be staying again! Mahalo!

Family Vacation

Spent 7 nights here on a family vacation. Room is located in the “historic” Ilikai Hotel, built in 1962. Most of the property has been renovated, this room has not. The room was nice for its age but was less than we were expecting. The dividers between the rooms are the old collapsible accordion walls, which don’t lock or latch. There are no black out curtains and there are a couple pretty bright lights outside that stay on all night so the four hour time change was hard to overcome. The location was pretty good, hotel offers valet parking and has shops and dining options in the lobby. Pools were pretty gross and made all the bathing suits stink. It’s about a half mile walk to Waikiki Beach. Room came with beach towels, two chairs, a pair of snorkel gear and a beach tent which was nice. Overall we had a good week, everything in Hawaii is expensive, this property is below average price with matching quality.
