My parents are I stayed at a two bedroom unit on the 8th floor for eight days. The place is around 1000 sq feet. The beach is right behind the hotel within 100-200 feet. There are a lot of shopping/dinning options nearby. There are a lot of bus lines serving this tourist area. Ubers and Lyfts are also very easy to get. We didn’t use the air conditioners in the unit. They are window styles, and extremely loud at night. We ended up opening the sliding doors on the balcony, which brought in a lot of fresh air while cooling the rooms down. For us, this was actually pretty comfortable. We got a full kitchen in the unit, and cooked half of the stay, which is also what we preferred. If I ever need to be back to O’ahu, this place will probably be my first choice.

This place was a fantastic home base for our trip to Oahu. The rental was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved how easy it was to walk to the beach, grab a bite nearby, or explore the local shops.The building felt secure and well-maintained, and the unit itself had a relaxing vibe with a great breeze and beautiful city views. The host was responsive and made check-in and check-out a breeze.It was the perfect blend of convenience and comfort. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

The only downside which is not the fault of the rental, was the main building itself was so hot in the hallways and elevators. There was no AC running in those areas. So waiting for the elevator, which takes time, was uncomfortable. The rental itself had AC that worked great. Overall the stay was amazing and we were able to check in a little early, so nice! The rental is beautiful.

Amazing stay

We were provided with pretty much everything we needed. A few things that would've made it even better would be to have a step stool for small children, a laundry basket to help if guests would like to do laundry and 1-2 gallons of drinkable water. We had a wonderful time without these items but, having them would've been 110%. I would recommend renting this place to anyone and would even rent it again myself. Great location. Staff at the Ilikai are friendly and helpful. We were treated no different than a hotel guest. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Fridge broken but they brought in a temporary one Nice stay. Great location with amenities of a hotel with the cafe and shops downstairs. Loved beach gear - wave surfing boards and brand new chairs, cooler, and umbrella!! Sleeper couch also was surprisingly very comfortable and easy to stow away

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the place worked out. I did have a few issues with the place. Good things first - the location worked out very well. It was convenient to the beach and restaurants. And we loved the balconies. The unfavorable things were that it had a very musty smell. In the master bedroom there were no end tables by the bed so it made it hard to have clock or phone nearby. We did not really use the kitchen so I can not rate how well equipped it was. Parking was a challenge if you do not use the Valet. It worked for three days that we stayed there.

The location was beautiful!! I enjoyed sitting on the balcony when we weren't out and about in the city. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!!
