This place is phenomenal!! The checkin process is seamless and the hosts are very communicative. The location is perfectly walkable and it comes with a parking pass. The rooms are absolutely stunning and one of a kind down to every little detail! We really appreciated the extra touch they added by going above and beyond with amenities like snacks, beverages, and toiletries. I can’t wait to come back!!

Amazing hotel

This is an amazing gem in the middle of Hood River. The room is unique and very functional. Bed is very comfortable, and adjustable for the perfect sleep experience. Complimentary snacks and beverages as well as an espresso machine in the room. The host are responsive to any questions.

“Unique” is an insufficient description for Thistledown. The hotel is over-the-top fabulous. The thematic decor provides visual candy at every turn. Yet modern amenities such as an adjustable bed, power curtains, power skylight shades and more are part of the vintage decor. The hot water takes some time to get running but they warn you about that. Fun place; highly recommended!

Thistledown on Oak is by far one of the most unique and beautiful hotels we've stayed in! We were in awe from the moment we walked in. The attention to detail and design is exceptional.
