The traditional Fuchswirt with its surrounding farmhouses forms the center of Kelchsau, in the middle of the Kitzbühel Alps. Built in the 14th century and renovated in 2022, the Fuchswirt shines with its guest garden and chapel, its own Haflinger breeding and agriculture.

The eight rooms are clean and cozy and reflect the charm of the place and tradition.



The picturesque village of Kelchsau is located in a side valley of the Brixen Valley, nestled in the Kitzbühel Alps. The beautiful, old inn, which was first mentioned in the 14th century, is surrounded by lovingly maintained houses and has been run as a traditional inn since the 18th century. The renovation in 2022 will allow the Fuchswirt to shine in new splendor.



Rustic and cozy parlors, romantic guest rooms and high-quality and honest cuisine make your stay a special experience.



In addition to down-to-earth home cooking, the kitchen team is constantly coming up with new creations and high-quality, local products make every dish a special taste experience.



The Hohe Salve region in the Kitzbühel Alps is home to one of the largest and most modern ski areas in the world - the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental invites you to an eventful skiing vacation in winter. In summer, the hiking areas in and around Angerberg range from the Adlerweg trail on the Buchacker to the Hohe Salve adventure mountain and the highest peak in the Kitzbühel Alps, the Torhelm. In the Kitzbühel Alps you will find a wide range of leisure activities at any time of year, such as skiing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, cycling, hiking, swimming and much more to make your vacation varied and unforgettable.
