"Hotel was clean. They offered coffee in the morning but no breakfast, something I would expect for the price. I felt safe in the hotel, but didn't feel completely comfortable with the parking and surrounding area. Staff didn't make me feel particularly welcome."

"This is a fun place to stay. The “Log Cabin” style of the basic room is just really cool (I stayed in the standard room, with two queen beds, and “Old Hickory” rocking chair and regular chair — no jacuzzi or other amenities found in the more “suite” style rooms). The staff is super nice, and there is a small well-maintained zoo connected to the back of the main building, which is fun to check out. "

"The staff excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Extremely warn and in need of renovation but clean and everything worked. Bed was comfortable and bedding nice Bath towels very nice. The food was absolutely terrible in the 2 restaurants we tried. This is why I couldn’t give an overall 5 star. "
