"A really good hostel just outside the main city of Bergen but a short walk away to bus transport and also a small Bunnpris shop for food items, etc. Was perfect for my weekend in the area, especially with even being close to the Ulriken mountain tram/path to the summit - staff were helpful with check in/out, plus the shared female dorm room I stayed in was comfortable and with a good toilet/shower room and bunkbeds. "Unfortunately the hotel chain was undergoing a strike so staff was minimal (albeit very helpful). The room was ok after a paid upgrade. Heater did not work and typical bathroom amenities were not present. Breakfast was great. Dinner was disappointing. One dish and dessert for fixed price of NOK 31. Instead of a full buffet. The hotel is in the suburbs but the tram to town was great. Be aware that there is about a 1/2 km walk to the station from the hotel. "
