"This was an ideal house to attend the Horicon Marsh Bird Festival. Be ready to walk down a kind of steep hill to the cozy new well-stocked cottage with a great kitchen & bathroom. There is peaceful outdoor seating on the river to watch still more birds. Go to the Blue Heron Boat Landing for the best Blueberry Muffins ever! Mary knows all the best places to go. Thank you!"

"Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, nice continental breakfast with protein options, easy to get to, great coffee, and helpful staff. Cons: Room AC/heat unit is noisy enough to be bothersome. The bathroom fan is so loud I had to shut my hearing aids off or keep the light off. Only other complaint is that in the 5 days I stayed there, I had to get my room key reprogrammed 3 times because it stopped working. I would stay here again though and would recommend it to others."

"We stayed 2 nights. Staff at the desk were prepared, professional and welcoming. The room 217 was very clean and well maintained. The bed, mattress, pillows were comfortable. I slept great. We had a complementary buffet breakfast and I liked it. Scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuit, yogurt and coffee for me. The restaurant did not have much staff for lunch and dinner. We ate in the bar our first night and had a few drinks. No driving. The next day lunch was a long wait, so we went to Culver's. The bar staff were very nice and they had good deals. I had an Old Fashioned for $4. It was delish!! Families with kids loved this place for the pool. This is a very good place to have a conference. Meals at the restaurant are iffy due to staffing. It could use a food truck for coverage."

"Yes on both counts. The house keeping attendant was very helpful. I give her five stars. The breakfast was very good, hot and fresh. I started eating bagels again. My wife and I would stay again, when we are in the area."
