Apartment with a balcony and a beautiful view in the Black Forest

Spacious, traditionally furnished apartment with a beautiful view in the heart of the Black Forest. 110 m² with a large balcony (including barbecue facilities). Very quiet and secluded. The adjacent forest offers countless trails and is just a 2-minute walk away: a true paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom with a spa tub, a spacious living and dining area, and two bedrooms with cosy double beds.

The Accommodation
What makes our large holiday apartment (110 m²) special is its traditional, authentic Black Forest decor combined with modern furnishings that prioritise comfort and convenience. So, on the one hand, you’ll find a variety of historic clocks, antique furniture, books, other antiques, and a traditional tiled stove; on the other hand, you can still relax in front of a 75-inch Smart TV, enjoy a rain shower, unwind in the whirlpool tub, and sleep in super-comfortable beds.
One of our highlights is undoubtedly the large balcony with a beautiful view of the Black Forest. Especially during the warmer months, there’s almost nothing better than relaxing there. In addition to a table and chairs (with comfortable cushions), you can also use a gas grill and an electric awning.
We want our guests to have everything they need, which is why we provide all the essentials. Bed linens, towels, a hair dryer, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, hair and body wash, hand sanitiser, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, sunflower oil, onions, garlic, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, and even a small hiking backpack are all available to you during your stay. The kitchen is also equipped with everything you need (refrigerator, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster, and much more).
We heat our house exclusively with our wonderful tiled stove. Even in the depths of winter, it provides plenty of warmth and a cosy atmosphere. Since the tiled stove is located in your apartment, you’re welcome to take on the role of “firemaster.” Of course, we’re happy to help—for example, by adding more wood while you’re out on an excursion. We also provide the firewood and necessary accessories, of course.
Music holds a special place in our hearts. For the musicians among our guests, an old piano and a guitar are available. Those who prefer to enjoy music passively will find what they’re looking for in our music corner. We have a total of 4 speakers distributed throughout the apartment. Using an amplifier, you can listen to the radio or pair your cell phone via Bluetooth to play your own music library. The apartment also features our little treasure—a 1958 Seeburg jukebox. However, it’s currently out of order, so for now it serves only as a decoration.
Furthermore, we take our role as hosts very seriously and always strive to be available for our guests. We’re happy to tell you about our region and provide helpful tips. Whether you’re looking for the perfect hiking trail, want to know where to find the best places to eat and go out in the evening, or simply can’t decide which sights to visit—we’re always happy to help. You can always write to us, call us, or simply knock on our door, since we live in the attic above you.

Additional Important Information
We are required to collect a visitor’s tax from every guest (excluding children under 14 years of age). This amounts to €2.00 per person per night.
For example, the tourist tax for 2 guests staying 5 nights is exactly €20.00 (2 people × 5 nights × €2.00 = €20.00). We ask that you bring the exact amount in cash and pay upon arrival.
In return, you will immediately receive a guest card that is valid for the duration of your entire stay. This allows you to ride public transport throughout the Black Forest for free. You can find more information and all the terms and conditions online by searching for “Konus Card Black Forest.”
Please remember to bring the exact amount for the visitor’s tax in cash so that the guest card can be issued to you immediately upon arrival.
