This little cottage was just as described. Very clean and well stocked. Close to Mammoth Cave and area attractions we wanted to see.

This place was perfect for our few days in Kentucky! It was clean, beautiful and the perfect location for us as we scheduled cave tours at Mammouth Cave National Park. Owner checked in to be sure everything was going ok and even let us know the night a mama goat had her babies so we could see them! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Perfect Place to Slow Down & Relax

This small home sits on a big beautiful piece of a KY animal farm! Very clean, comfy beds, reclining leather couch, nice shower, lots of towels, extra blankets, nice backyard area, the kitchen had plenty of dishes and the animals were a Huge plus!!

Great Location for a Visit to Mammoth Cave

We loved our stay and visit to Mammoth Cave. The animals were awesome, and our youngest son loved visiting with the horses each day. The train at night took awhile to get used to, but overall, we had a great time.

Great stay

This was a perfect property for what we needed with plenty of room for more. It was fun to feed the horses and goats as well. Great location with looking to spend some time at Mammoth Caves!

Great Location and Stay

We had an awesome stay. Lots to do around the area. Owners has thought of everything in the house but grocery store right down the road plus restaurant if needed. Had not issues finding locations. Best place we have stayed at.

Quiet Weekend get-a-way

House exactly as described. Horses right out the backdoor of the house, friendly and playful. Nice walks through the farm, with sheep, cows, goats, and horses. Nice get-away to relax for the weekend.

Wonderful stay

We loved this place! It's exactly as listed, clean, and great communication with host. Our kids loved the animals🐴🐐🐑! We did Mammoth, down under zoo, dutch safari, Corvette museum, and some bourbon trail. We also enjoyed Farmwalds restaurant/bakery near the down under zoo. Thank you for sharing your happy place!

Family Getaway!

My husband, myself and our two girls (3&4) stayed here for a little family getaway. It was exactly what we were looking for! A slice of country. We loved having the horses hang out with us all day, feeding them and relaxing by the fire. Crystal the owner was so gracious, and even sent us flowers for our 8 year anniversary! Highly recommend!

Excellent Small Farmhouse Stay

We loved all the homey personal touches in the house and on the property. Thanks for such a cozy stay! Making friends with the horses was such a cool bonus. A wonderful secluded location for sunset strolls. As suggested by others, use the provided fans as it gets quite hot at night with the primary AC blower unit being in the livingroom.

A real getaway!

This property was exactly what we needed to escape our corporate jobs and reconnect. The property manager was excellent. She respected our privacy, but gave us a chance to feed the animals! The animals were all so sweet, and my daughter was in heaven. Definitely exceeded all our expectations :)

Excellent Farm Property Near MCNP

We loved our dogs' first visit to the farm! Our shepherds loved the horses and goats. We felt safe with them running around off leash which made being outside such a pleasure even with the heat. We went with another couple and the house had all we needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked in both nights and were impressed with the variety of spices available. Excellent stay and would definitely book again.

Beautiful Home & Property

To say we loved this home and property is an understatement. So peaceful and relaxing! The location was perfect for our visiting Mammoth Cave NP. The home and beds were comfortable and provided everything we needed for our stay! Seeing the sheep and petting/feeding the horses every day was one of the highlights of our trip, specifically our 3.5 year old daughter! She was so very sad to leave her horse friends! The host was very friendly and easy to contact at any point before or during our stay. We would definitely book again the next time we visit the area! Highly recommend staying at this gem!

Perfect getaway

My kids loved the horses! My daughter sat and talked to them for most of an afternoon. The house held our family of 6 easily, and was on a nice quiet street. (Other than the train, but I love a train) Recommend the playground near Hidden River Cave if you have young ones. (Cave was flooded or I’d likely have a recommendation for it too) Other favorites from the area were “Shake my Burger” (I think it’s now Sweet Cheeks catering, but Google had it by Shake My Burger) and Kentucky Down Under where got to spend a morning petting kangaroos and emus. Loved the trip, and the kids would go back tomorrow if they could! Thank you for sharing your home and property with us!

Perfect place

This was our first time renting a house instead of hotel and my fiancé and I couldn’t have been more happy with it. This property was absolutely stunning and very clean. Crystal was super efficient and responded back in a timely and professional matter. She was super helpful considering we’ve never done this before and answered all questions we had. The location was perfect and there were many suggestions on things do, places to eat, and resources listed in a guided handbook for around the location of the house.

Beautiful land

Cute little house sitting on a beautiful property. We loved the horses and giving them their treats. The baby goats were adorable! The owner, Crystal, always replied fast on any topic and was very friendly. However, we were nervous about the bathroom floor. The sub flooring definitely needs replaced. It was very soft and flexed.

Home away from home down on the farm

To say we had the best time is an understatement. My family was in town exploring Mammoth Caves and the surrounding area for a few days. The home is absolutely adorable, super clean, and has everything you need. The projector screen movie nights were a favorite of our girls. The best part though was all our animal (and new babies) friends we made. The highlight of every day was feeding our pals and the beautiful scenery we were surrounded with. The girls cried when we left. We will certainly be back again!

Clean and Cozy Home, Wonderful Property!

Our family of five stayed here for two nights on our cross country road trip. We immediately settled in and loved how much character the home had—from the quaint, well-equipped kitchen to the friendly horses and goats on the property. Our kiddos STILL talk about their favorite goats (which they named Merlin, Cinnamon, Lil' Baby, Licky Leg, and Bill). I'll always remember the hazy summer morning sunrise through the trees. The owners were so friendly and communicative. It was the perfect experience! Thank you!

Amazing Stay

Wonderful property - even better than expected. My son just fell in love with the horses and would have spent the whole day outside petting them if I would have let him. Home is beautiful and nicely set up. We really like the Roku set up in the living room. The only thing I would recommend is a railing for the front porch, my husband and I both have knee replacements and it was hard to get up them since they are a little higher.

Country Living

This house was located in a very beautiful area. Quiet, safe and loved the animals next door. Host was very quick to answer any questions. The house was well kept with plenty of extra amenities (coffee bar, toiletries, spices for cooking, popcorn). There were a few minor issues with a bit older home. Faint smell from bathroom and screws on cabinet door in kitchen were stripped. Nothing that would deter us from staying again. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay!
