Unser Aufenthalt war spitze. Cristiano und seine Frau sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Das inkludierte kontinentale Frühstück wartet bereits im Kühlschrank in Form von meist regionalen Produkten und einer selbst gemachten Marmelade von seiner Frau. Das Haus ist sauber und gemütlich. Wir hatten den gesamten Garten für uns, da das Nachbarhaus zu der Zeit nicht vermietet war. Alles mit Liebe zum Detail arrangiert. Cristiano achtet bei den Casas da Faja auch auf Nachhaltigkeit. Wir waren während des Hurricans Lorenzo auf Faial. Cristiano hat sich überaus sorgsam um uns gekümmert und wir sind für eine Nacht sogar in ein anderes Haus umgezogen. Es wäre nicht nötig gewesen. Da jedoch keiner einschätzen konnte wie stark der Sturm auftrifft, war es uns sicherer für eine Nacht ein paar mehr Nachbarn um uns zu haben. Die restliche Zeit haben wir die Ruhe im Tal genossen. Nach Horta benötigt es ca 30min mit dem Auto. Zum nächsten Restaurant mit integriertem Minimarkt braucht man 5min mit dem Auto. Es liegt direkt in Praia do Norte (den Hügel hinauf). Des Weiteren steht einem eine Waschmaschine und Trockner, ein BBQ, Strandtücher, ein Geschirrspüler und MEO Tv zur Verfügung. Obrigada Sr. Cristiano. Adoramos a nossa estadia. Voltaremos sempre.
