"This hotel was well located in the city but a street or two back from the main area meaning it wasn’t too busy or loud. That said, it was still very easy to walk around the city and get to public transport options. The staff were friendly and helpful finding me things to do and translating different options for me. My room was pretty big compared to what I’ve had previously on my trip but was also comfortable and clean. The history of the house was also a main point for me. It was nice to walk around and look at original photos/paintings and see historic documents was pretty cool. "

"We checked in late, around 2130, check in was very easy and provided us food before the bistro closed in the hotel at 2200. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We left before breakfast was served but we were able to take bread and cold cuts as well as coffee with us. One of the best places we have stayed. "

The quality and scope of the buffet were far beyond standard hotel fare. From traditional Norwegian specialities to a vast array of fresh, high-quality options, we honestly went back again and again. It was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever experienced."
