"Stayed here for one night after climbing Adam’s Peak and it was perfect for the rest and sleep that was needed. The property was clean, including the room which had a big, comfy bed and hot water. No ac needed as it got chilly in the evening, there was a warm duvet. Staff were extremely nice and friendly, making sure we were well attended do. "What an amazing place and host! It was certainly the highlight of my week-long trip to Sri Lanka. Getting to see the beautiful area surrounding the plantation was an outstanding experience. The opportunities to see the local environment, splash in the pools of waterfalls, and get a personal tour of the tea factory, were incredible experiences that we will never forget. Sumith is the most warm, welcoming, and gracious host and we wish we could've spent more time with him, exploring this community...

The rooms are beautifully designed, lots of space, beautiful Mountain View’s (we had one of the sunrise view rooms but I understand they also have sunset views too) and all amenities included.

"We did not stay here! They would not check us in even though I showed them we had paid on Expedia. They wanted cash from us. They said Expedia doesn’t pay them and they wanted us to pay again. We didn’t because the place looked dirty and unfinished. We left. "We truly enjoyed our stay in Carnation rest. The room was spacious with a separate living area that make it very comfortable. The staffs were very efficient and friendly. They even offered to wash our clothes which was very nice. Breakfast served in a cute little room and was more than adequate."
