We were shocked at just how beautiful and cozy this cabin was! It was so nice to disconnect from the world and dissapear in the mountain for 3 days! The hotub wqs so nice and both the fire pit and fireplace were so nice! Will definitely be booking another stay here!
This is the perfect place to getaway from it all and just unplug and relax, if you're looking for a nice little cabin to go to to just getaway then this is the place for you from it's location to the hot tub it's definitely a quiet place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings, I will definitely come back it's very clean and well taken care of I highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed being unplugged during our time there. A few of our favorites: the hot tub, cooking in the kitchen, reading on the couch, and the many seating areas to relax and hang out around the property.
Had an amazing stay away from kids! No serious plan, just enjoyed quiet time at the cabin and a few hours exploring local culture. The cabin was super clean and the hot tub was a great night time activity. Fully relaxed vacation! Can’t wait to visit again!
If you want to escape from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this IS the place. Quick drive to Asheville for some awesome dining, or a Biltmore tour. Hope you all have as great a time as we did! Peace!
We greatly enjoyed our stay! The only advice I have for the property is to install some kind of light near the grill/hot tub. There are no lights on the side of the porch, and we had to use flashlights. I still recommend staying here! It was so peaceful and quiet.
My boyfriend and i loved this place! It was nice to check out from the stressful day to day activities. Growing up with no cell phones or internet, its nice to be in a place where its not available and really take the time to relax and enjoy nature and get grounded again.
The property is lovely and so deep in the mountains that you are completely disconnected from the outside world (no phones and no internet) the hot tub is perfect. We did a lot of hiking and walked around the town of Hot Springs. It was exactly what we were looking for….quiet, relaxing, and connected to nature.
The cabin was very cozy! It was perfect for a couple. We really enjoyed the location. 30 minutes to Waynesville and 30 minutes to hot springs. It was also 10 minutes from the wedding at Davis Cove. Such a beautiful area. Thank you so much.
The property was nice and clean. We checked in late because we spent the day in Ashville. We ate dinner and breakfast at Dave's 209 cafe and the best food and friendly people. The only problem was the big ants crawling on the bedroom ceiling on our first night. The 2nd night, I didn't see anything.
This is our 2nd time staying. The first time was for a late honeymoon. The last time we where there was in mid yo late April and it was definitely chilly but totally manageable. This time however was in January and one of the days we where there the high was 13°. Even with the fire going constantly it was almot too cold. Just pack warm and layer. We did get a decent amount of snow during our stay. I'm always concerned about driving on curvy mountain roads in the snow but the roads where great. Lastly the one thing I wish I knew the first time was the kitchen has just the basic stuff so we did bring some stuff from home this time. Still with that being said we just love this place and are looking forward to coming back.
This is the prefect get-away. No cell service took a little to get used to but well worth it. The landline is a comfort as we needed to be reachable for our son. The phone line was out when we arrived, but was working the next morning. We learned this happens periodically when it storms. So, just be aware of that. We saw deer each day, but the gift was seeing a doe with two fawns down by the creek. If you're not tall, the mirror in the bathroom is a struggle lol.
We were grateful for a perfect weekend away. This cabin... with the firepit, overlook pavilion, hot tub, grill and secluded property with wildlife...is perfect. Go, relax and enjoy!

Could've Been Better
Property was not as advertised and we were pretty disappointed. Property in general was beautiful, a tad bit hard to get to up a mountain but views were nice. The cottage itself could really use some work. Cleanliness was not adequate, giant spider webs everywhere, years worth of dust hanging from the ceiling, black mold in the shower. There was not working lighter to light a fire, and no first aid kit. I would suggest improving these things and the overall cleanliness. I would also make the upstairs area more stable. You can see through the wood floor boards and as you walk on them they move making you feel as though you will fall right through. I would also make sure what you have advertised indeed is on property and works. There was no DVD player like advertised, and also advertised a phone line to be able to contact people due to no cell service. Which also was not working... Owners did give us some what of a refund after only staying 1 night out of 3-4 nights. Felt we deserved more given our cleaning fee was obviously not being put to proper use and the amount of gas and driving we had to do to get to the cabin.
This cabin was a joy to stay in. Very comfortable and enjoyable to spend time in. Hot tub was enjoyable and the heaters in the cabin kept it warm even when it was below freezing at night.
We had the best time at this cabin. It was so cozy and relaxing. We loved all the outdoor areas, especially the sit spot near the creek! We will definitely back!
The cabin is very charming. It’s in a very private setting, with outdoor fire pit that’s set up very comfortably, and made more perfect with the sounds of the nearby creek. And the fabulous hot tub ! Perfect weekend getaway
