"Overall, the trip was enjoyable, but there are a few things I wish I had known beforehand. The location itself is beautiful and offers plenty to see and do, especially if you enjoy exploring, sightseeing, and trying local food. The atmosphere was welcoming, and most places were easy to access."

"The safety latch on my door was broken. I had to call to have it fixed. It was as though someone had already busted through the room and broken it. Being in the corner against a parking lot with an apartment building across the parking lot and having a door like that felt very unsafe. They did fix it, but it just seemed very unsettling and I’ve never had that happen before. And I’ve traveled to a 100 places."

"The house is super cute and in a great location, close to everything! Loved the screened in porch overlooking the lake. Hosts were great about answering questions. "

"The floor was so filthy our socks were black. The floor also had crumbs and animal crackers on it, the shower had hair and a bug and the blow dryer was so gross, even a bleach wipe would not clean it. We told the front desk the next morning. When we returned late that night, we had a new blow dryer, but the floor was not vacuumed or cleaned and still hair in the shower. We called, someone came up with a broom and dust pan and asked us where to clean the floor and was then going to spray a chemical on the floor to clean it. We did not want to breathe chemicals for the rest of the night, so we said no. They did get the hair in the shower, finally."

"The mattress had stains and the shampoo and conditioner were empty in the shower and the pull out bed was broke. Could have been better for sure."

"The hotel’s location was nice. The lake view is very pretty. We chose the hotel because of the breakfast reviews, but found breakfast to be average at best. The restaurant inside was closed, and is only open during their busy season. Overall, the location was nice, but amenities were lacking. "

"The motion activated stair light only works when you get half way up or down. Very dangerous at night or when carrying large bags "

"The water was out for most of our stay, but they were working diligently to fix it. The room isn’t the most up to date and the beds weren’t great. However, the kitchenette would be a nice feature if the water worked… "
