A NEW HOME built in 2009 in the Lake Coronado area. Nicely decorated 1 level home with 3 bedrooms (3 queen beds), 2 bathrooms, 2 car garage in a private wooded setting. Satellite HDTV in the living room and master bedroom. Hot Springs Village is a gated Community about 15 miles north of Hot Springs. Enjoy golf, fishing, swimming, tennis and hiking trails in the heart of the Ouachita Mountains. Located near Lake Coronado (about 1 mile) and 10 miles from the West Main Gate in Hot Springs Village.

Nice, spacious home in quiet, remote neighborhood.

Peaceful, comfortable home. Beautiful area. Could easily accommodate a larger group. (I recommend reading what is not provided in the home before you go.) The wi-fi was slow, as is common in hilly, remote areas. Making cell phone calls was NOT a problem. Large master bath & closet. The shower was basic and the showerhead small, but the JETTED TUB was GREAT!!! Very comfortable for soaking and relaxing after a day out. The garage was convenient and secure. The check-in and check-out process was easy and instructions clear. Note that it takes 15 minutes to get from the entrance gate to the home, so be sure to add that to commute time for wherever you plan to go. Would definitely stay here again.

e 'up' position and was unable to drain (the handle on tWe have rented two different homes over the last two years in the Village, and this rental provided the least amount of value. There were live insects in the foyer, bathtub and kitchen floors. One sink drain in the main bath was stuck in thhe plunger had been broken off). There were no blankets or extra pillows. We needed to wash the dishes before use due to visual residue.

Nice Property, with Caveats

The home was pretty much exactly as described and fairly clean when we arrived. We ate most of our meals at the residence, and the kitchen was adequately stocked for our needs. There is no backyard to speak of, but there is a patioed section. We enjoyed our visit, but there were a few key pieces of information that would have been helpful to know prior to booking our stay. 1) Hot Springs Village is a large area, and the property is very secluded; it was about a 15-20 minute drive to any amenities, grocery store, and the gate in/out of the Village. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but for our purposes it wasn't the best fit. 2) Hot Springs Village advertises many amenities on it's website that we were excited to take advantage of. However, each one carries a separate fee. When we have stayed at properties with community amenities in the past, a guest pass would be provided. That is not the case here. The fees were not exorbitant, less than 5.00 per person (except for pickleball--10.00 a person!) and we did use the amenities that appealed to us, but those fees add up when traveling with a family. In full disclosure, I did call the rental agency after I had already booked to ask about amenity fees and they were upfront in answering my questions. While neither of these issues are huge, it would have been helpful to have this information prior to booking and probably would have influenced our property choice. Overall we enjoyed our stay but will probably choose another location next time.
