Paradise Found - Newly updated cabin on the River with Hot Tub, screened in porch

"Our vacation was excellent. It was the perfect amount of space for a couple. Due to recent rain, the river sounds overrode the traffic sounds on HWY 105, which is right across the river. the downsides were the fire pit and the two paths down to the river need major attention. Everything is overgrown and made it very messy to get down to the river, including the steps on the path that need to be replaced or cleaned up. You can tell the fire pit hasn't been cleaned up in ages. It's obvious no one tends to the outside. The water pressure is terrible, so you can't really use the tub. By the time it fills, the water gets cold - literally. Bring extra towels as they provide and the washer is extremely moldy and stinky. All that said, it's a beautiful spot on the river and we enjoyed our stay."

"Very clean with all the necessities. Wonderful view off the patio. Comfy bed. Found a place nearby for pet relief though the surrounding area is steep. TV was a bit difficult to figure out (and not real big) but we managed. Road to cabin is narrow but perfectly situated between Boone and Blowing Rock."

"This property was very clean and comfortable - and the host was lovely. There were lots of features we didn't even take advantage of (like a gameroom, a firepit, a great back deck with a charcoal grill, multiple TV's, etc.) because we absolutely loved the beautiful vista of Grandfather Mountain from the large front porch, which was furnished with a porch swing, and great seating, including rockers. We spent hours visiting on the porch every day - we had our coffee there in the mornings - and our pre-dinner drinks there in the evenings. The lot the cabin sits on is gorgeous and private - very wooded with lots of birds, including hummingbirds. Being there was peaceful and restful. The location was convenient for exploring the area - Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Linville, and, of course, Grandfather Mountain."

"This property is absolutely gorgeous! Decorated beautifully and generously stocked. Plenty of seating inside and out. The beds are very comfortable. Very quiet and yet close to everything. The driveway is definitely very STEEP but manageable. I thank Foscoe Rentals for being so responsive and helpful from the reservation process right through checkout! Wish we could have stayed longer!! Highly recommend!!!!!"

"This magical house was the perfect place to stop over after coming home from a south carolina beach. I feel so blessed to have found it. Someone is a true decorator. "What a great property! Directions were on point. We booked for a girls" trip for four of us and we each had our separate spaces to decompress and be in the moment of this lovely place. Each bedroom was an en-suite, had separate WFH areas if needed also. Very clean and beds were so comfy ! Decor was beautiful. Easy drives to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. Communication with the host was great. Looking to book again here !"
