"My wife, 2 dogs and I had a great stay at this vacation home in the Dordogne region. The location of the rental is central to several excellent wineries and nearby cities. The local market is walking distance to the property and they sell fresh clams on the weekends. The property does offer a sauna and hot tub which are nice and the hosts were very attentive to our needs. There was an issue with a barking dog next store but this was quickly resolved. "It seems that there is rarely someone at the reception desk after 18:00...therefore, there was no one ask for information on things. Also there was no ice machine at the hotel. With that said, overall we liked the place, and are likely to return. Lovely location, impressive entrance, with a huge vineyard in the backyard, right in the middle of the "road of many chateaus". The room, along with the bathroom were both very spacious, with King-sized bed, high-quality mattress and pillows. The breakfast was excellent quality too."

"The property is in a great location, close to the beach and only about 20 minutes walk from the center of town. The apartments are well equipped, functional though small. The pool area and surrounding woodland area is lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful."

"We had the most amazing time staying in Estelle’s chateau. She was a brilliant host - giving us a tour of the property including the history - and helped me with ideas for an itinerary for our trip.We had 19 adults and 1 baby stay - the chateau was even better than pictured - incredibly beautiful, all the rooms were clean and well appointed, and the facilities were great for hosting such a large party (kitchen utensils, pool towels, bbq etc.). I also highly recommend doing the wine tour with Estelle as we learned so much from her about tasting and production.I will think of any excuse to come back and do the whole thing again! Thank you again Estelle!"

"Great location Very clean apartment I only realized when I arrived there that this is not really a hotel. The description could be a updated to add that you are expected to make your own bed and unmake it before leaving… maybe is a normal thing in France. For the price I paid, I found it odd."
