"Hotel is 25 min drive to Amboise. The hotel does have restaurant but very limited seating and for dinner , we found that the restaurants in Amboise were great but you do need a car. Hotel is on a manual accounting system so errors did occur on the bill. Management is unwilling to make any adjustments after you leave property so need to check the invoice closely. "

When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. "We cannot fault our stay. Arrived late but Pascale had rustled up a 3 course meal for us….!
Really friendly, beautiful setting, quiet. Very comfortable bed, great breakfast (as you would expect from a pastry chef). You eat at a table with the other guests in our case from Belgium and the Netherlands and much laughter was had alongside several different languages! The photos do not really do it justice

"This property is wonderful if you are looking for a quiet French countryside chateau to stay at. It has blue herons, many cats, a rooster and fish in the pond out in front with a wonderful salt water pool. Definitely recommended. "

What I found is a gorgeous place with excellent service that I would certainly return to.
This is quite a romantic setting. They do have a restaurant, but I did not eat there. The parking is ample and easy to use. "
