Terrific location close to medical center. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. 2-car garage able to park large SUV and sport SUV. The townhouse requires you to use stairs, 1 flight up from garage and another to bedrooms. Kitchen is adequate with eat-in table for 4 and larger table for 6 in the living room area. Everything functioned in the kitchen but did need a little extra cleaning if you are very picky (we are). Good laundry facilities. Bathrooms on every floor. Nice jacuzzi in master bath. Freezing weather during our stay had us enjoying the gas fireplace. Heat and A/C worked well. Host was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our long-term stay. Would stay her again.

Great location and spacious townhouse

Location couldn’t be better, near many great playgrounds (levy park, Hermann park, River Oaks elementary) and lots of great culture and restaurants. The house is spacious, yet cozy, with a very comfortable family room and 3 sizeable bedrooms.

The property had potential but there were some problems. Nothing that would ruin your day all at once but it was like death by a thousand small cuts for us: on day one, the water in the kitchen sink would randomly shut off with the tap open. The property managers offered to send a plumber but I did not want a stranger in the house when I could not be there, and I was doing 12-14 hours away each day to be with an ill family member. Also on day 1, I found a patch of dirty floor and could not find adequate cleaning supplies. The property managers overnighted cleaning supplies, which was nice of them. Here were the other concerns:- There was a moldy looking leak in the kitchen ceiling. See photo. - The property listing shows 2 twin beds in one of the rooms but it’s actually 1 queen. We didn’t care but someone else might. - The pillows were all so tall your neck would be wrenched every night. - The paper goods were see-thru. - The bath towels were see-thru. - The shower toiletries were empty or half empty. - The WiFi cut out one day. - The master bedroom sink was clogged. The property managers wanted to fix each individual problem but we just wanted to leave. They wouldn’t let us out of the rental if we couldn’t provide proof that the kitchen water was cutting out, and kind of suggested we were lying (“our inspector didn’t find that”). It stopped doing that after they asked for proof, so we quietly finished our stay and tried to leave the place very tidy.
