"This VRBO is so nice. Lots of extras. Kari is so sweet. I love having the property manager be so willing to give us tips and suggestions. They live on an adjacent property so if that bothers you,this isn't the right fit. I personally love the added service of having them handle the details. The house was spotless and so many things are provided. You won't want to swim right in the bay,but that isn't a problem. There are paddle boards to go out deeper to swim. The view is great and sitting on the deck is so peaceful."
Nick's Place - Johnswood Off Grid Cabins on Drummond Island

"You get what they say. It’s a rustic cabin. It’s comfortable and well laid out. Clean and easy in easy out. Parking is limited so if you bring a trailer it’s tight getting in and out. Overall I’d stay there again"

"This was our 4th stay and it was amazing just like our prior visits! We did see less of the Loons than previously but plenty of the Sandhill cranes and deer. We enjoyed the peace, quiet and serenity. As always the view from the porch and swing were breathtaking with the sunrises. We had everything we needed and the host was responsive and available even though we did not end up needing them this trip. Hope to be back again next year!"

"Beautiful serene UP cabin was an amazing relaxing getaway! No detail was spared and we felt so welcomed the second we stepped foot inside. Easy location for bringing our boat to fish and enjoy family time in the eastern UP! Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful location on Caribou lake! We will definitely be using this serene location again! The host was very quick to communicate and check in and out was as easy as it gets! Thanks so much for the restful reset!"

"Place smelled from. Old or mildew. Good thing it wasn't hot as we had 1 box fan no A/C but it wasnt advertized that it was so equipped. The mattresses were anything but firm and our backs hurt. No closets to hang clothes. I understand they have a short window to rent units which is why they are priced as they are. Still a little more pricey than I expected."

"Our stay was everything we hoped for! The driveway was large and accommodating of our trailers with a full loop around. The outdoor patio was perfect for grilling and hanging with friends. We really loved the large shoreline for sunrises and sunsets. The kids fished and ran around in the outdoor spaces. The kitchen was very well stocked with any cooking items you could need and there was a lot of counter space for meal prep. Thankful for a kind host, clean space, and room for all 11 of us to he together!"

"The property was exactly how it was portrayed. We absolutely enjoyed our experience and plan to rent the property again if it available the next time we are on the island which will likely be often and soon, since we purchased property while we were there."
