"I really enjoyed my 4-night stay at the hotel. Honestly I did not expect much when I booked it. But everything exceeded my expectations. Room is clean, spacious and quiet. The location is convenient. The services were excellent. The front deck lady went above and beyond to accommodate my request for room change. Breakfasts were excellent with good choices of variety. I will definitely stay here for my next hiking trips."

"We loved the 2 room cabin.The location allowed access to Salida and Cotopaxi along with longer trips to Leadville and Canon city/Royal Gorge.We used the full kitchen daily and enjoyed the intermittent stream in the mornings. We saw a doe and 2 fawns in the yard. Clean and felt like new construction.Warm evenings which require fans to cool off. Crisp mornings we fantastic. Started off with coffee and away for local adventures. We enjoyed the fire ring for marshmallows and brats and hot dogs before a fire ban hit. We would love to come back. Zero negative to say about the hosts or property. Steve pointed us up the mountain for a day trip we enjoyed. We never would have known. Thank you for the suggestions and great lodging."

"This property is amazing. When we pulled in I thought the buildings exterior looked dated. But Karen checked us in, showed us where our room was, showed us the closest parking and access door to our room. She was very accommodating. First, every little nook is an art gallery. Wonderful mountain pieces right down to the live edge wood trim in the hallways and in the room. Our room was cleaner than any of the large chain hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast was a lite faire but it was as we expected. The entire hotel and staff was thoughtful and wonderful. The owner is on premise. Lots of art and stuff to discover inside the hotel and outside. I would definitely book it again."

"We really liked our stay here! It was a convenient location and a quiet area. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor pools and we loved the giant hot tub! The outdoor games like cornhole and connect four and the small playground kept the kids entertained in the evenings. The nightly s’mores was enjoyable also! Room was clean. Breakfast was a grab and go and had cereal for the kids, bacon egg and cheese bites were good, some breads and pastries, yogurt, etc.. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here!"
