Staff was very friendly. Rooms are very small and dated. We booked an upgraded room, but size was smaller than advertised. Pictures on the web look better than reality. Town is very small, so it’s good if you want quiet.

This property was very beautiful. The rooms were clean and cozy. The hot tubs were very nice and felt private however one was not getting hot while we were there. Close by to Secret Lagoon which was a nice bonus.

The photos do not do this place justice. Literally one of the cutest nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in in all my travels. Incredible staff. Outside hot pools are amazing. Rooms are cute and perfect. Dining room and food are incredibly delicious. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice hotel in the middle of the golden circle

Location is great right in the middle of the golden circle. They had two outside tubs. Awesome to relax after a long day. Room is nice. Problem was the bathroom floor, when wet it can become extremely slippery. Also as it uses floor heat I g it becomes quite warm. As it’s our first time in Iceland we didn’t know this and didn’t open the windows. What I didn’t like was that we didn’t get the promised bath tub /inside garden facing rooms as prebooked.

We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was a beautiful and unique property. Views from the hotel were breathtaking. The staff was very friendly. The decor was well executed and the hotel restaurant had great food. A great place to rest along the Golden Circle. Close to Geysir, Gullfoss and the Crater. The area around the hotel is rural and gorgeous.

Gluten Free warning

Beautiful Hotel so clean and stylish. The dinner was so lovely and so flavoursome. My only issue was when I asked for Gluten Free Bread - I was told the brown bread was gluten free - it very definitely wasn't! no gluten free bread is that stretchy unfortunately
