not-so-good, it need to be renovated
the room is good, old but good. Shower area was quite naked, there's only curtain between bed and shower. Facility in the hotel area was quite old and non-maintenance. There's only 2 Lounge chairs in the pool area. In my room, Wine opener is very old, can't use it to open the bottle. You can't order any drink that much from room services, but staff was very friendly and nice.

Do not go unless you are prepared for no hot water and dirty room. It’s been sold and will receive a make over, this Will EVENTUALLY be a great place to stay

Great stay!
Great stay with amazing scenery! The private pool is good for a swim. And the public pool is huge! They have 3 friendly and cute dogs to welcome us at the reception. Will return again!

I love the place, better than I expected. Staffs were so friendly. If you want to travel around, this place may not be good for you, but if you are looking for a quet and relaxing place, then this will be the best option for you.

Quiet and pleasant. Amenties can be improved.
Very secluded area with lots of bugs. Only 3 other occupants. Wonder how they survive. Overall great for peace and quiet but rooms are aged.

Peaceful pool villa away from Hua hin town
Peaceful stay in a pool villa. There is so much potential in AKA Guti. The resort is located up the hill and surrounded by greenery. It requires better maintenance and cleaning. The design is beautiful but it is not functional in some areas i.e., shower. The breakfast buffet is adequate. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Zen retreat
If you are looking for zen holiday then this is the place for you. Plenty of interesting insects and very peaceful. The hotel is fine but there are no spa facilities and dining options are limited (you need to go to the resort side) it's also about 15-20 min to the city so you will have to use the shuttle a lot. Overall nice stay but I would have preferred a beach holiday

The hotel is good, but the furniture is a little old. The staff is nice. The pool is clean, better than we expected .

Personal inifinity pool next to your bedroom
The personal infinity pool was amazing. Staff was extremely friendly. It is quite far from Huahin downtown but if you’re looking for a serene getaway, this place cannot be beat!

Disgusted by the Staff
The reception area is dated and had cobwebs on the fans. The greenery wasn’t well kept but the villa suite wasn’t bad it had a pool but amenities where lacking. The hot water was broken. The coffee machine wasn’t working. The food was overpriced and the chef cooked different dishes to what was ordered. I complained on the day and nothing was done. The meal wasn’t recooked or suitable replacement wasn’t offered. Upon check out they didn’t offer a refund for that meal either I received a 20% discount but was appalled. I’m Thai so it wasn’t an issue as such with miscommunication. It was the fact that they used mama noodles and completely gave me a different dish compared to what was listed on the menu. The sheets had stitches in them as if they were repaired rather than replaced when damaged. Also due to the location we had to get a shuttle bus everyday which is fine but this was on a 2 hour basis so if you missed your shuttle you’ll be left waiting for a few hours. Unless you want to pay 400 baht to be driven by a private taxi service. My overall experience was lacking for the price paid. I would recommend going to a local hotel by the seafront your experience will be much more rewarding as you don’t have to arrange travel back to the villa at the end of every night since everything by the beach is either walking distance or you can get a tuk tuk for next to nothing. Deeply disappointed that they only took of 100 baht for serving me mama noodles.

Great stay, but glad we didn't pay full price.
Room was great, staff was very friendly and helpful, but am glad we got the room at a last minute deal price because I dint think it was really worth the full price. Room was very clean, light switches were hard to figure out, pool water was really cold so all we could manage was a 5 minute swim. Very calm and relaxing as I think we were only one of about 3 or 4 other guests. Food was good, expensive and if you don't like seafood or curry, best get used to asking for a chicken club sandwich. But overall very nice. Very far outside of the town, but they do offer a free shuttle every hour.

Beautiful hotel but lack of maintenance
I booked a one-bedroom deluxe villa for my bf's birthday for 2 nights. The hotel is really beautiful with a private infinity pool attached to each bungalow. The room was very big and the bed was very nice. However, the pool won't work until we asked the staff to start it and it was very dirty and there were dead flies on the surface. The hotel definitely needs a lot of maintenance and defintely is lacking maintenance. On the first night the air conditioning in our room wasn't working (imagine how bad it was without AC in Thailand) and the maintenance guys came in at midnight for an hour. We were both super tired and had to wait until 1am just to get ONE of the AC in our bedroom working (the one in the living room wasn't ). The guys promised to report and fix that next day. We went out very early the next day and came back in the late afternoon. When we got back to our room NEITHER AC was working. We called again and they only offer to come fix them again and never offered to move us to another room until we got upset. They ended up moving us to a two bedroom bungalow but told us not to use one of the rooms because we only paid for one room (which we were fine because we only had 2 persons anyway but it was just the way that they became so stingy, that bothers me but it wasn't the worst thing). The two bedroom was nice with a bigger infinity pool. However it wasn't working AGAIN although when they showed us the room they promised to make it work soon.

Excellent getaway for you and your loved one!
Excellent stay! Absolutely great pool villas. The only complaint was that the restaurant had poor service and many of the items they had on the menu was not available. I don't know if this was something temporary due to under staffing, or completely new staff but it was rather surprising as everything else was excellent. Let's put it this way restaurant was 2-3 stars but everything else was 5 stars, and at the end of the day I will still give it a 5-star rating.

nice hotel expt too far away from the city center
in the black mountain side, far away from the city center. shuttle bus available every two hrs. rooms are very nature compare with the the one by the seaside. overall nice, but not convenient if only stay for several nights.

Relaxing stay with privacy
Everything was nice except stains was found on the bed sheets. There was a lot of mosquitoes at the dining room so we could not enjoy the breakfast.

Paradise.
Honeymoon trip - everything we could have wanted. Rooms with pools are amazing, staff were incredibly helpful. It's in the middle of nowhere, which has it's ups and downs but in general you can't ask for much more.

There is no service I think! Seems everyone just in AKA main resort! The reception with no manner, even the second night the lighting system was out of order of the villa, no apologies . And the most reticulous thing was he told us to return the laundry bags. That was including all my underwear and dirty clothes inside. of course I return the bag to them immediately , and the staffs was watching us to empty the bags with our clothes in front of concierge , and of course all our stuffs was show very clearly to them. Will never come again!

Nice Hotel, Private Getaway
If your interested in staying out of town and havig your own area to live and swim, then this is the perfect place to stay. Tranquil and perfect. The rooms were amazing and exceeded my expectations. A little bit of a drive from town, but I was staying here to escape town so it worked out perfectly. Will definately stay again.

It's situated at a rural mountain side, no view but a rural countryside. room has nice design and arrangement. However, it's really too much different kind of insect as well as a frog! it's a quiet place to settle your mind if you don't mind all insect invade into your room, even there is ants on bed. I'd booked two nights and i only stayed one night there and need to book another hotel for the second night. I didn't ask for help from the staff because i knowing that it won't help even change to another room. Dinning area in the hotel is nice and clam, good staff there too.

Family long weekend in Hua Hin
On arrival in the evening, we were welcomed by a receptionist who barely spoke English. She insisted we had to pay extra for items we already reserved and had paid in advance. Later she found out and apologized (one hour later). On checking out they claimed we had consumed drinks from the minibar and had broken glasses, which was not true. When closing or opening the doors, the knobs kept falling off. When we informed the reception nothing was done. This is not a five star resort and not worth the money we paid. Otherwise the setting is beautifull, but you need a car if you want to go out. Transportation arranged by the hotel is erratic.

Great and welcoming staff. And the hotel is pleasent. Just the pics in the ad and the current condition don't match at all. Luckily the villa was in good condition, but the public pool was dangerously old and shabby. Hotel restaurant and bar are closed. Everything outside the private villa seemed a little "ghost town-ish".

It’s a relaxing resort which takes around 10 mins ride from city centre. The resort offers shuttlebus service to and from city centre yet not that frequent ( suggest to check for the schedule from their website) The room is spacious and environment is perfect.

在山中間的.真的很憂靜...不是自駕遊的,除非你不打算出外..否則不要住, 情侶適宜,家庭不宜 交通問題,我延遲了到酒店的時間..但在我到酒店的三小時前,也有聯系酒店我們正在曼谷過去,到真正到酒店時已是早上6:00...但酒店的房間好像沒有預備好給我們住的...在晨早6:00要通知櫃台..加這加那...而最大問題是...酒店房間電話是壞的..而他們明知也沒打算解決...到第二天在我們要求下.才給我們一個手提電話! 房間設施太小.....一般這種遠離市區的酒店,及這種家庭式別墅都會配有煮食的用具及洗衣機...但這間酒店什麼也沒有... 我選住的兩房別墅,額外加了張床,但酒店好奇怪地把加床加在客廳中央,跟住把所有客廳的椅子都收起了...即是一家人也沒聚腳的地方...除非坐在加床上... 露天的浴缸很有情調,但我住了三天也沒有服務員打掃過,所以我一次也沒用過呢! 這種簡約及田園式的酒店是我的偏愛但這間內容設備太簡漏了.. 絕對要值得一讚的...是這裡的早餐...餐廳的幾位員工...廚技真的一流,能比美5星級的大廚! 若我給這酒店是70分的話...我有50分是給這間餐廳的
