"10/10 hospitality from Guido and Krista! We thank you for your insight, recommendations and perspective! Casita 3 was a fabulous getaway for a week. Kitchen is adequate, as we did prepare most of our dinners there. The deck and views are fabulous. The mattress is very comfortable! Water quality and water pressure are great. "When we arrived at Finca Lucky we didn't receive the confirmation email for the key. It was very stressful, as this made me distrustful. We had to ask the neighbors for the phone number of the owner's contact. The house was a mess. The sheets were thrown on the bed. The curtains were not put up. We had to clean everything ourselves. The internet is terrible, it doesn't work well. There are no televisions. I didn't see any maintenance done to the pool. We stayed for 8 days and they didn't have...

"Everything is as the name of the house. Its,all about the view. Stunning view of the ocean from the,whole house and magnificent sunsets. The house is comfortable and the pool lovely and even for swimming. The owner is extremely helpful and all his information and tips given were very useful. Many restaurants shops nearby in the area and beautiful beaches. We stayed a week which was wonderful. Would definately like to come back"

Luxury by the Beach - Great for Families or Multiple Couples

"The check in process was easy, buy the rental office was a little challenging to find. The sign is small and it is in a back corner amongst other shops. After we found it, the process was smooth. The rental agent even escorted us to the property to be sure we were comfortable with the locks and safe. The property was clean and they had cleaners come twice during our stay which was great. The a/c units were a blessing with the heat and humidity and the pool was used a lot. We felt safe in the house, but they also had a security guard each evening which made us feel even more secure. We had to scoop a couple of crabs from the pool each morning, but there was equipment there to make this possible. We walked to the beach and swam in the ocean multiple times since it was so close. The only downside was the living room fan. It was not working and would have been nice to help with air movement in the big living room. We did contact the rental office and they checked but it was not able to be repaired during our stay.The owner and rental agency were great with communication and answering our questions."

"Bill's place is amazing. Of all the places to stay in Samara, this place felt perfect for our family of 7. It is easily walkable to the beach - I timed it at 4 minutes and 30 seconds. And several times on our walk to the beach, we saw and heard monkeys. The apartment has everything we could have wanted for a beach trip: beach chairs, separate towels for pool and beach, beach toys, pool floats, board games, umbrellas, etc etc. The host has really thought through what a traveling family needs for a beach vacation. The gated entrance with onsite attendant made us feel safe at all times (although Samara itself never felt anything remotely close to "unsafe") and it was nice to know someone was onsite if needed. The host, Bill, and the property management company were both exceptionally responsive and very helpful. We got held up in terrible Costa Rica traffic on our drive to Samara and the local property management company made it super-convenient to check-in after a long day of travel. While we had a rental car, a car would not be absolutely necessary here. You can still walk to many places in Samara from here, although it would probably be easier with a car to get to the more northern end of town. The A/C units worked well enough to make our stay comfortable and the view from the kitchen and the master BR are unmatched in Samara. The view from the pool was great too and we hardly ever had to share it with other residents. 10/10 we would stay here again."
