"Our family stayed here for a weekend and wish we were there longer! This place is the perfect getaway if you’re visiting Hudson or to have a chance to be immersed in nature. Eve gave us some really good recommendations for Hudson which we really enjoyed too! The house is super cute and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was our absolute favorite part of the house, the property is large and is right on the water, we loved hanging out there skipping stones, dipping our feet and watching all the birds. It was so peaceful to sit under the shade of the trees there. Also loved having the chance to bbq outside and have dinner al fresco! There was a nice hot tub but we didn’t end having enough time to use it. Another bonus was that this place was a perfect place for a dark sky to see stars at nightWish we had more time but definitely would stay again!"

"We enjoyed our stay in Athens. Clean, welcoming and comfortable for 6 adults and 2 children. The kids loved the game room and the adults enjoyed the massage chair! We were there for a family wedding near Hudson and the location worked out well.The host communications were timely and thorough so entry and exit information was easy. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay for our time in upstate NY!"

"This was a return visit to Mike's property as we have stayed in his home 3 other times.We travel with our children and grandchildren and spend the week cooking together and enjoying the beautiful lake property.Our grandchildren have begun to call our vacation the "Red House" vacation as everyone is very comfortable in this well appointed space. Each time we return there have been additions/upgrades to this well maintained home. The lake is perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating.A big thanks to Mike for sharing his home with our family."

"The home is beautiful and Dave and Nicole were so easy to work with. We had a smaller group than originally expected but there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed having a large room to sit in and visit as well as a separate room to all have a comfy spot to sit and watch a movie. The kids loved the ping pong and air hockey and we all loved using the kayaks and paddle boards. Great experience overall."

"This house was perfect for a girls trip. The view from the pool was incredible, as was the pool itself. The house is very large and fit 10 of us, but there were some quirks like it being so large that there’s different WiFi’s for different rooms and a ton of light switches that we couldn’t keep straight. Nothing that would keep me away. I would rent this house again!"

"The back porch has a great view of the river where we watched the boats go by while eating dinner. There was lots to do: backyard games and room to play, a firepit for hotdogs and marshmallows, and pool table in the basement for hot afternoons. We had a great time during our stay. If we needed anything the host where quick to respond."
