We're glad to just stayed for one night to this hotel (originally planning to stay for two nights but they don't have extra room the next day). Start with the check in staff cant find our reservation so we have to wait until ok. They want us to pay $5 extra to check in early as we arrived 1:15 pm. We wait for 2 pm. Room very spacious, one light on the wall so kinda dark. Table lamp is not working, over all the room is old. Bathroom ok. The big disappointment!!! is the Wi-Fi, works for few minutes and then out, wait for half an hour then connect again. Around 10pm we can't really get any connections. Mid night TV frozen. It's a nightmare and the worst hotel we had for a two weeks in Vietnam. Since they don't have extra room so we book a night stay at SHINING SERENE HOTEL and it was the nicest and beautiful hotel. We are welcome with a delicious plate of mixed fruits and a watermelon juice and a cold towel that really relaxed us after a day of touring.Very 5 🌟 welcome!!! Room spacious nice and clean.

It is an old hotel...but, I stay there on every trip to Vietnam. Staff is great to work with, breakfast is included, priced right, and close to anything you want to do.

Great Value Hotel
We enjoyed the breakfast, it was the best hotel breakfast we had during our 3 week Vietnam trip. The pool was also very nice. This hotel is a great value for how little it costs.

Staff Hospitality was amazing. Ask the front desk what you want and they will direct you where to find it. In house restaurant service was great, especially 2 employees named Dung and Phuong

Old rooms and no good condition. Some rooms with heavy mold. The entrance is ok and good looking, but it does not coincide with the rooms. Rooms as small, and old wood beds. Bath room too small.

Don't stay at Gold Hotel
Don't stay at Gold Hotel. They tried to put us in a little dungeon on the ground floor. It was a dark, damp, dank and quite frankly depressing kennel. Our booking paperwork clearly said a room with balcony, pillow top mattress with Italian linen. Yeah right! We politely debated with reception to be moved. A real shame. Next room at least had a window! Dated, drab hotel. Avoid it.

nice hotel
we stayed two days in Hue and unfortunate for us it rained pretty hard those two days but the room and hotel was very nice and clean and made staying in very comfortable.

Okay hotel
Try not to book hue tours with this hotel. The tour they offered was okay but not the best. I think there are tour companies in the backpackers area close by.

Fantastic value!
We stayed three nights here. The location was quiet yet close to many points of interest and restaurants. The staff was incredibly friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the large breakfast buffet every morning. Bed was comfortable and bathroom large and clean. My only gripe was with the private car to Hoi An we booked through here. The driver's English was not good enough to answer questions and was at times hard to understand... and then he tried to sell us on going to a tailor for suits. Very disappointing, especially for the price we paid.

The room was clean(ish) however the bed seemed to have electricity flowing through the head board, which didn't feel safe! The pool is nice but is abit on the small side!

LOUSY HOTEL!
BAD EXPERINCE I WILL NEVER BOOK IT AGAIN. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE AIR-CON NOT WORKING @ MID-NIGHT , CALL THE RECEPTION NO RESPONE. WHEN DOWN TO RECEPTION COUNTER NOBODY WAS THERE AND BLACKOUT.

It was okay for the price. People at reception had very low level of English or French, so it was very hard to understand each other. Location was good and walking distance from restaurants. Beds were very hard but it is usual for Vietnam. I would not go back.

Nice hotel
The hotel was ok, disappointing to find again that the hotel description was not what is actually is. After having 2 prior poor experiences in hotels in Hanoi I was going to be fussy and demand what I had booked, what do you know it doesn't exist. 3 rooms later we settled on a room. Went into the restaurant to have lunch, not a soul insight however we were told fully booked! Went up to the cafe and no one to be found....ended up going for a walk to find a place to eat. Not happy that food was not available when there should have been 2 options available. Room was reasonably big but no where to sit. Beds were extremely hard.

Amazing!
Staff were wonderful, So friendly. They gave us a few extras as we were on our honeymoon and decorated the bed with roses. It was amazing!!! Food was wonderful. I couldnt recommend this place enough. Excellent value for money also.

The hotel has a newer part and an older part. I suspect the newer part is used for tour groups, and the older part is used for other guests. I got a room in the older part and could not change to one in the newer part. My room was damp and had an odor that was very unpleasant. I could only endure one night. Very disappointed because I booked this hotel after driving by, seeing the newer part, and expecting to get a room in the newer part.

It was fine
No major issues to report except that while breakfast appeared to be a glorious spread, it was kind of anticlimactic each morning, just sort of bland. That being said, I was coming off a nasty episode of food poisoning from Hoi An, so maybe I just wasn't into food at that point. The citadel was walkable, the hotel is very close to the two streets with the tourist restaurants and bars, and the staff were pretty friendly. The bar on the 12th floor or whichever floor it was was pretty cool, played a lot of Elton John, had decent food and local beer among other drinks.

Great pool
I was happy with this choice of Hotel. The staff are young, friendly & as helpful as they can be mostly. Sometimes we had communication misunderstandings which we only experienced here. Overall, I would have no problem staying there again. Hue was a highlight of the trip.

Great place to feel pampered
From the moment we checked in until we checked out we felt welcomed at this hotel. From the doorman opening the door me us when we arrived to the front desk people handling our check in. Everyone had smiles and words of welcome. The breakfast is nothing short of spectacular. From western omelettes freshly cooked to order to local dishes, fresh juice and coffee or tea. Great way to start a day in Hue. The wifi is available but we had to move the desk closer to the door to have reception on the computer. Hand held devices also only worked near the doorway.

Good stay. Spoilt at the start when we weren't picked up from the airport as requested. When we reported this no one seemed to concerned. Otherwise clean hotel in good location. Fairly impersonal but probably due to the fact that it is larger than the hotels we usually stay at.

Eine geräumige Wohnung in Strandnähe, getrennt vom Strand durch eine sehr stark befahrenen Straße. Man kann zu Fuß oder mit dem Linienbus viele Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Wir haben einen kompletten Monat dort verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

La habitación no tenía calefacción y cuando se lo comento en recepción me dicen que no que como es el ala antigua no tiene y cuando reservo el transfer al aeropuerto y paguo con mi tarjeta y me llega el cargo por mensaje del banco, me dicen que me lo quieren volver a cargar por que ha habido un “jumbo” y que no me lo han cobrado, que espere 5 minutos y veré que el cargo desaparece, que ya les había pasado con un cliente. Una semana después el cargo sigue cobrado. Como me niego a que me lo vuelvan a cobrar y después de pedir hablar con el manager, cosa que no sucedió, me dicen que ok, que me llevaran gratis, muy poca vergüenza es lo que tienen.

회에서 이틀밤
호텔이 오래되서 시설이 매우 낡았고 짐을 들고 방으로 이동하기가 불편합니다 방에서는 퀴퀴한 곰팡이 냄새가 나고요 좋은 점은 위치와 조식입니다 조식은 종류는 적지만 맛이 있네요
