"Hotel is 25 min drive to Amboise. The hotel does have restaurant but very limited seating and for dinner , we found that the restaurants in Amboise were great but you do need a car. Hotel is on a manual accounting system so errors did occur on the bill. Management is unwilling to make any adjustments after you leave property so need to check the invoice closely. "

"More like a motel than a hotel. No one present upon arrival. We found a workman at the back who phoned someone to open up. Surly and unhelpful, although there is a restaurant no food served Sunday evening or Monday morning."

"Ein ehemaliges Jagdhaus wurde vor kurzem zu 4 ganz tollen Wohnungen ausgebaut. Ich habe schon mehrere sehr nette Gastgeber kennengelernt, aber noch nie jemanden, der mit so viel Freude und echter guter Laune diesen Job ausfüllt! Offensichtlich hat er sich seinen Traum erfüllt und kann es kaum glauben, wie schön alles geworden ist! Zum Frühstück gibt es Baguette, Schinken o.ä. vom lokalen Fleischer, mehrere leckere Käsesorten, selbstgemachte Marmelade und oft noch einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen....

"Quiet hotel situated in a very peaceful environment. Check in was relatively fast and efficient. We were taken to our room by the receptionist. Our room was situated on the first floor and was well designed and decorated. After a long trip we had a quick swim at the swimming pool and enjoyed it. Coming back to the room we were intrigued by the way the towels were displayed in the bathroom and we thought well that is perhaps the way they do it.
