Gîte LE Pressoir

Between the Loire and Sologne, our charming cottage is located in the countryside, 200 m from the Chambord park, on the route of the castles by bike, and 10 km from Blois and Cheverny.

Our cottage "Le Pressoir" is one of the 3 cottages of the farmhouse of the "Val de Chambord", an old winegrower's farm of the eighteenth century.
Located in the middle of the farmhouse, this semi-detached house is an old barn of 125 m² recently renovated by an architect combining authenticity, comfort, modernity and can accommodate up to 8 people.
The cottage is located in an exotic and relaxing, rural environment, with a direct view of the Parc de Chambord and the perimeter wall of the estate.
From the car park shared with the gîtes "Le Chai" and "Le Pressoir" where you can easily park your vehicle, you access a private courtyard with an outdoor table and barbecue allowing you to enter the gîte.
The house consists of:
• on the ground floor of a large living room of 50 m² with a living-dining room and open fitted kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, coffee maker, Tassimo, kettle) and WC.

The living-dining room opens onto a large south-facing terrace overlooking a 150 m² garden. It is equipped with two sofas, a flat-screen TV and a large family table.
• On the 1st floor, there is a mezzanine with a sleeping area / bed of 140 for 2 people and serves by a walkway above the living room the 3 bedrooms each with a bed of 160, one of which can be separated into 2 beds of 80 on prior request, 2 bathrooms with walk-in shower, 1 separate toilet and a laundry room with washing machine.
Free internet access (fibre) in the cottage.
Pets, Parties and Electric Vehicle Charging Not Allowed
Minimum stay: 2 nights on weekends / 3 nights on weekdays and school periods / 7 nights in July and August from Saturday to Saturday

We remind you that by booking you accept our internal rules and you agree to respect them, in particular by respecting the place, its tranquility, the maximum number of occupants (7 people maximum), parties and animals not allowed.
- Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the "End-of-stay cleaning package" service is mandatory added to your stay for your peace and security. On the other hand, this service does not exclude the general good maintenance of the cottage and the return of the cottage tidy (dishwasher emptied and dishes tidy/ barbecue & grill cleaned, bins out).
The cleaning and disinfection protocol can be consulted in the welcome booklet of our gîte as well as our charter for the good use of the gîte.
- ECO GESTURES: As part of energy sobriety, we ask you to respect simple gestures on a daily basis to reduce energy consumption.
*Set the heating to 19°C in the living rooms and 16°C at night in the bedrooms
*Turn off or put the radiators in frost protection as soon as you are away and at the end of your stay
*Turn off all other devices on or off when not in use.
*Shift the use of electrical appliances outside peak periods (8 a.m. to 1 p.m. / 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and to schedule "washing machine and dishwasher" type appliances in off-peak time slots – 9:00 p.m. to 0:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. –
*Run the washing machine or dishwasher only when the machine is full and preferably choose a short or economical programme (40°).
*Spend less time in the shower
