"Manu was a great host, he was very welcoming and helpful and provided clear instructions to find the apartment, parking and how to get into the property. The property was exactly as advertised, in a great location and was spotless. Also, having tea and coffee at the property is only a small touch but has a great impact and shows Manu cares for guests. Great place and would 100% return. "

"This property is set in a charming Oxfordshire village and made a lovely place for our overnight stopover. We would return if we are in the area again."

"Cart Shed 1 was a super place to stay. Lovely high standard accommodation very confortable beds and living area seating, well equipped kitchen and the luxury of 2 bathrooms. Emily was very quick to respond to messages and gave clear instructions for directions etc. Couldn't have been better for a trip down memory lane for 2 ex students of Culham teacher training college, one of whom stayed at Nuneham Courtney house."

"Light, airy, spacious self contained top floor flat in Old Swindon. I was visiting from Australia and stayed here with my 92 year old mum (there's a lift to the top floor). Excellent location to visit Avebury stone circle to the south and the Cotswolds to the north."

"Lucas did an incredible job looking after our luggage as we arrived early. He also had a couple things in the refrigerator for us that needed to stay cool. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful."
"Great property- staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was great. For a small fee we were offered an upgrade before check-in which was an easy process."
"Our room was a ground floor Deluxe room lake view with balcony as we took our dog with us. The balconies to these rooms are not individual to each room, it is a wrap around walkway, which is lovely, but not secure if you take a dog. There is no air conditioning in the rooms only a fan was provided. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was extremely comfortable.
View from the room was very beautiful and tranquil.
Staff very obliging and attentive. We had an evening meal in The Boat House, and was allowed to take our dog. You will be seated in area with no view of the lake, the view you will have is of the car park if you take a dog with you. This area is en route to the toilets too. Food and service was very good. A 10% service charge was automatically added to the bill.
We did not eat breakfast at the hotel.
Bar - service was very good. It was very busy due to the football and people attending conferences, but service was quick at the bar and it was a good atmosphere. Our dog was allowed in the bar with us.
The hotel was very busy, as it has a large conference Centre attached to it.
The grounds of the hotel were well looked after.
Parking - had to park on one of the further car parks which was about a 5 minute walk away. You can drop off and pick up outside of the reception to save struggling with luggage.
I would definitely come and stay at this hotel again."
"The stay was very good but the weather was hot and there was no air conditioning. Also we were in the garden wing which was quite a shock when we first saw it as it looked like a 1960's car park and totally out of keeping with the main building and photos online. However the rooms were fine although extremely hot. Food and service was excellent and leisure facilities were good."
"Our stay was good. Staff are really helpful, they just smile to you especially the ones working in the kitchen. The cleanliness, good, especially in the activities areas. The swimming pool, sauna, and the toilets are well-maintained. The food we ordered for lunch was tasty, the ribs and brisket, unfortunately they serve it warm. It's like, just reheat from the microwave for few seconds. But it was okay. We like the taste. The one I love the most despite imperfection, is the coffee. They serve Starbucks. Also, coffee in breakfast is good beans. 😊 Overall, just 4star."
"I loved my four nights at The Store!!! It started with the amazing welcome by the friendly staff and a welcome drink upon a very hot arrival. My room was upgraded due to my Expedia status without even asking, and I was offered the food and beverage credit upon check-in. I have found that to get these perks at some VIP hotels, you often have to ask specifically. The room itself was so clean, bright, and cheerful, and they had lovely music playing upon arrival....small touches that make an environment feel very welcoming. The waters and such in the minibar were included and restocked daily. Housekeeping refreshed the room daily. The air conditioning was a bit weak, but I asked for a fan, and it arrived at my room within minutes. The restaurant was great for both breakfast and dinner. The spa's thermal area, which guests enjoy at no cost, was lovely. The only con I encountered was that I was never able to get the screen casting to work, and on the last day, the channels on my TV stopped working. The pros more than made up for that. Everyone I encountered was so kind and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the spa area. The room was a bright, calming oasis at the end of a long day. I was truly sad to check out. This was a wonderful stay! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. When I return to Oxford, this will definitely be where I stay!"
"The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The food and drinks were reasonable and good prices only thing I would say we had one of the rooms in the annex area and this needs updating with new carpets and fresh paint."
