"This was my family's 3rd or 4th time staying at this hotel & we love it. We'll keep going back. Its located on Congress Street in downtown Springfield, perfectly located 12 minutes from The Big E State Fair (which is primarily why we go to Springfield) but its also extremely close to The Basketball Hall of Fame. LaQuinta is very clean & the rooms are a pretty good size. There's a great bar in the lobby & for the past 3 years Kim has been our bartender. Kim is the best & creates all of these special fall cocktails. If you're staying at this hotel, definitely go see Kim...I cant find anything bad to say about this hotel & best part is that its extremely affordable too"

"Everything about my stay was perfect. After my initial review of "outstanding hotel and service", I was impressed all the way to the end of our stay. I'll start out today's review with the breakfast buffet. The buffet was "above and beyond", it was better than any complimentary breakfast I've had in any Motel/hotel property. make your-self waffles with all the fixings, small "pocket-size" omelets, hot & cold cereals, biscuits and sausage gravy (superior quality commercial frozen heat & serve product), great bread & beverage options and nice selection of whole fruit. All with good hot beverage choices and accompaniments. Upon return to the room (APPROX 8:15am) was already out on our floor, hard at work knocking on door offering their cleaning services. we weren't ready to check out so they said they would return after we left. They were "very polite" about being turned away. Finally, checking out was short and sweet completing a perfect stay. Well Done, BRAVO!!"

"A beautiful and charming inn, but the buildings are older and it could use some maintenance and updating. We did not have hot water on the morning we were checking out. The porches are comfy and very quaint."

"I was initially disappointed when I realized the property is a refurbished motel with room access via doors directly to the outside. However, the comfortable and welcoming lobby/bar/lounge area and pristine room with a comfy king size bed more than made up for it. The room also had complimentary, refillable water bottles with glasses (not plastic), and beautiful bathroom with full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion. And finally, there was a wardrobe with shelves to store clothes and shoes and a cushioned chair in the corner with a reading light. This was the most comfortable and well appointed hotel room I've been in. Staff at breakfast and at the bar after dinner were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, though I prefer the rooms on the 2nd floor."
