Perfect place to unwind. The lake is right out your window and steps from your door. You can enjoy the lake from a variety of outdoor seating areas and from inside the cottage. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We had the opportunity to meet the host who is very friendly and made us feel at home. We plan to go back and bring friends and family to enjoy this amazing place. There is a large home and a medium size cottage on the grounds in addition to the converted train depot.
The views were spectacular & the quick response when I couldn't find the code to the door was awesome but the house was not very clean, lots of dog hair and sand on floor (no broom), sofa has stains and the room leading to the backdoor smelled of dog. Also, there were no extra sheets or blankets to use on the pullout sofa & it was stated their folder of information, that to get them there would be an upcharge. Also, we stayed for 3 nights yet there were only 3 bath towels for 3 guests, it would have been nice to have at least an extra towel. We did not read the rental description very well because apparently the lakefront access does not have a beach for swimming or floating in the water; although there is a great shared deck that will take you down to the lake, it's very slippery and not a great place to enter the lake, but there are plenty of public beaches. Again, the view was beautiful if you just want to sit and admire the lake.
Overall impression of property and area was extremely pleasant.

The property is well cared for and enjoyable both for it's lakefront relaxation and the nearby areas such as Vermilion and Catawba Island. We would definitely return.
Great place to stay between Cedar Point and Cleveland. The lake area is shared between 3 houses and there is pleanty of room. There is a breakwall and easy access to the water. Water is 2 foot deep upon entry and it’s all sand. Beach towels and extra linen was not provided as listed but we got by. Great view of Cedar Point, the island and amazing sunsets. I am already trying to find an excuse to return
