"We notified them in advance that we had pets because I wanted to make sure they were allowed in the suite, I was told yes and that it was $15/night/pet. Then, we arrive to check in and I'm asked again if I have pets and I repeat I have 3 and then I was told they aren't usually allowed in the suites, but they would allow it since I was told it was okay when I booked it, but they said I'd have to pay $20/pet/night (so the original pet fee was also incorrect). It wasn't much more, so I agreed to pay the $120 pet fee. Then, after we got settled into our room and left to do some activities, the hotel called and TOLD me they were charging me a $200 deposit to hold over the weekend and I would get it back at checkout as long as there was no damage to the room. Mind you, I signed nothing for this "agreement". After checkout they completed the $200 payment despite there being no damage to the room. I made a complaint to SD attorney general immediately and reported the charge on my card as I have video evidence the room was not damaged. Stay far away from these scammers."
