We came here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it!!!! The weather wasnt great for parts of it and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was good, everyone is friendly and so much fun! The food is top!!!! A True Slice of Paradise From the moment you step onto the island, you know you’ve arrived in true paradise. I’ve traveled to many countries and stayed at various hotels and resorts, but I can confidently say this experience sets a new standard — offering a level of luxury and uniqueness that’s truly unforgettable. We were warmly welcomed by our personal concierge, Poula, who went above and beyond to make us feel like royalty. He and his team arranged a stunning private dinner setup and helped us book an incredible professional photographer. We ended up purchasing two albums because we simply couldn’t choose from all the amazing photos. This place gave us the perfect balance of peace and adventure. We originally came to celebrate our anniversary but were gifted a once-in-a-lifetime experience we will never forget. I’ll definitely miss this place and can’t wait to return with my family.

Wonderful holiday

Excellent stay with 2 small children. Quality and space for beach villas with plunge pool was excellent. Massive amount of choice for food at the buffet every evening. Kids club was great with lots of different activities. Beautiful resort which is relatively new and in good condition

Fabulous island with wonderful reef and lovely friendly and efficient staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Food was excellent as were facilities. Plentiful water (still and sparkling filtered) in the room at all times, replenished multiple times a day. Nice toiletries. We didn't do many activities but greatly enjoyed the beginners dawn yoga class. Overwater bungalow was beautiful and possible to see fish, sharks and rays from your room. I'd have like to have seen a little more action on sustainability (ensuring appropriate behaviour over reefs, reefsafe sunscreen etc, and also introducing - or acting on - optional daily towel and sheet changes (ours were changed multiple times a day, despite us hanging up towels). I understand that The Standard is starting a cooperation with a conservationist to improve information about the coral etc which would be great. It is worth noting that, in line with the branding of the hotel, there is very often quite loud music in the pool / bar area.

Beautiful over water bangalo pool with privacy room. We can see different kind of fish from our room. Beautiful hotel. All employees did a great job for us to feel special. 45 minutes from seaplane cost you around $518 per person. We did all inclusive in May and not a lot of restaurants open everyday. Other why everything great.

Over all it’s a nice place not worth the money food options very poor also I was email the hotel 2 weeks before arriving to set flowers on bed for my wife birthday the email me back to confirm but the never did it

Maldivian paradise best holiday ever

What an amazing place!!! We were literally blown away with the friendly and hospitable staff and the beautiful surroundings of the island. From the snorkeling equipment to the his&hers beach bags provided in the room, to the available bicycles for public use - every single detail was catered for. Do not miss the lobster at BBQ Shak. We unfortunately had a minor medical issue and they doctors on site treated it very quickly and efficiently Special shout out to Shamaau & Shekhawat who looked after us during our stay.
