"The Hotel exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was fantastic, with something for everyone, and the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Could not fault any aspect of our stay."
"The hotel was welcoming, warm and comfortable with a generous breakfast. Lots of easily accessible facilities nearby including the amazing pool complex."
"Small studio apartment was clean and comfortable. Had everything needed to cook dinner etc. Free parking was ample and situared in private area at front of property. Large supermarket 5 mins walk and town centre just a few minutes further.
Beautiful park area overlooking the sea is directly behind the spartment."
"Excellent place to stay! Rooms are very basic, but clean and comfortable. The absolute highlight is the breakfast: better than in many hotels with bacon, eggs, mueslies, dried fruits and nuts, salmon, veggies, fruits, a wide variety of bread etc. I was stunned by the variety as well as the gluten-free options :) The staff was helpful, and helped me get around the city and the riverside. Thank you! "

You can study the exhibits at Saggrenda Silver Mines, a museum with a storied past, during your trip to Kongsberg. Take in the art scene and mountain views in the area.
"Perfect stay. Very friendly staff, helpful with recommendations of things to do.
Hotel very clean, modern and comfortable. Could not fault anything.
Amazing views over river and town centre.
Included buffet breakfast was amazing, best we've seen, for quality and quantity. Salmon & herring, to bacon eggs, to cold meats and cheeses of all descriptions. Huge varieties of teas and coffees, freshly squeezed juices, yogurts and danish pastries.
Finally it's centrally located, next to train station close to new bridge to cross river.
No noise at all heard from trains, perfect sound insulation. "
"I was cycling camping through Norway but hit a patch of terrible weather and found the nearest hotel and that turned out to be the marvelous Grand. Idk but something about this place is so compelling and downright charming. There are so many marvelous details and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel in Scandinavia. I give them ten billion stars"
